I came here with some of my coworkers for lunch, we basically got there right at opening. We were seated quickly. I got a sweet... tea, which didn?t taste like it was made with sugar, but it was still good. My supervisor ordered the table a large cheesesticks, which I thought was interesting because it was very similar to what I would think is a cheese pizza. The picture I tookof them- it came like that, but they were good. A little heavy on the olive oil which overpowered the taste of the cheese, butstill good. I got a solo pizza with spinach and pepperoni because it was a lunch special to have a solo pizza with up to twotoppings. The pizza was okay, it was pretty thick and a little hard to eat. I prefer thin crust and a thinner layer of cheeseand toppings, but the pizza was tasty and filling nonetheless. The service was absolutely fantastic! Our server did an amazingjob with being attentive when it came to drinks, asking if we needed anything else, and split the bill with no issues. We live locally & yet, we hadn't been to Speedy's for a while. Decided to try it for lunch last Friday and it was great! We sat... on the enclosed patio which was spacious & well ventilated. Our waitress was great! Prompt & friendly, she hustled but neverlost her smile. Food was freshly prepared & tasty. The fries are the shoestring type & I ordered them extra crispy, & they were!The meatball sandwich was delicious! And the lunch pizza my husband ordered was crispy & gooey. Yum! And the check was less thanwe spent at a drive-thru. Beer is also available ($2.50 12oz draft) We will definitely be more frequent patrons! UPDATE: Wetried it again yesterday & got the same fantastic service & food. One of their lunch specials (@$6.99) included a generousportion of delicious lasagna & garlic bread. I got the lunch pizza (also $6.99) & changed it up to a "white" olive oil base,feta, & red onions (so thinly sliced!) pizza. Delicious!! Two meals & two teas cost just under $20. The staff is always really friendly and the food is always great. I'm a big fan of italian food so it's awesome to have a place... that specializes in both pizza *and* other things like pasta. Love the vibe too, real sweet place. Read more
Our server, Lana, was so sweet and helpful. We had a philly 14in pizza (the medium size), and a Reese?s peanut butter pie slice.... Our total was under $30! Cheap, delicious, and relaxing space. Nice patio! Read more
Great service in a nice atmosphere offering great options on pizzas, calzone and salads. Our service mike was very attentive.... Unfortunately the food wasn?t that good, brochettes and calzones were soggy, pizza was ok. Food came out on a reasonable time. Read more
Moved here 12 years ago from a more "happenin pizza"-oriented area, and Speedy's may not be the be most out there gourmet pizza... in the USA, but it is really good, reliable and pretty consistent in taste and texture over that time. That is called a win.Which is why we call in, pick up and enjoy it almost every week. Thanks for being a good go to pizza place. Might stop in fora beer soon! Read more
