Really like the food, but the last 3 times I've ordered from them the food is way late. This time I ordered an hour early and... it's still 20 mins late... so if you order and they say 25 mins expect 30 to 40 and you'll be OK ???? I'd give 5 stars if theywere on time. Read more

Food was decent, service was not great. After seeing the reader's choice awards on the wall and reading the reviews I was pretty... excited to try the Bamboo Hut (we stumbled on this place out walking tonight). Our server was polite enough, but didn't ask ifwe wanted to order drinks (we would have), didn't check on us as we were looking through the menu (we were new customers andtook a long time to order, we would have appreciated recommendations). We finished the waters that were brought to the table butthey were never filled (even as the other server filled her table's glasses). We ordered 3 dishes, but would have ordered 1 or 2more if we had some input from our server. Our bill (and her tip) could have been double had she put in any effort. We also hadto wait for her to finish her cleaning duties & try to find a lost receipt before we could pay & leave. Wouldn't make a specialtrip back, but maybe a take out order to eat at the beach. Recently updated their menu. Absolutely awesome as always. My favorite is their vermicelli noodle monster bowl. The price is... really good. Not $17 for three skewers, vermicelli noodles, vegetables, two spring rolls you can't beat it. Definitely worththe drive from Blackfalds to come here now and again The only reason this isn't a five, is because they don't have a kid sizedmeal. We stumbled upon this restaurant because we were tired of Pub grub and wanted something different, and how lucky we were to... choose here! Absolutely amazing fusion of flavours and food was super fresh and delicious, every dish was flavourful and onpoint. Will definitely have to return when we come back to Sylvan Lake! THE BEST ASAIN CUISINE IN CENTRAL ALBERTA by far! The ingredients are so incredibly fresh, the quality simply cannot be beat. ... Our family has been there about 10 times in the last two months, it's always our go-to place (we even sometimes go two days in arow if we just can't get enough). They have so many options, perfect to suit all tastes. Personally I absolutely love theirspicy pineapple chicken curry where the pineapple adds the perfect amount of tang (I totally recommend this btw). For those whoare not quite a fan of spicy curries, I recommend their monster bowl; it's a huge portion and is a full two meals for me. Thestaff here is always friendly and even though the service isn't quite the fastest, it is well worth it (trust me, food this goodtakes time). EVERYONE WHO VISITS SYLCAN LAKE SHOULD GO HERE...
