My son loves the little 'Shopper in training' shopping carts he gets to push around and help shop ????
You cannot use your air miles card there anymore they have switched to scene points. Meat prices were far more expensive then... the small town I shop in which seems odd. I haven't bought any locally in the last week maybe another inflationary increase butsomething I will definitely be checking out today at my local grocery store. Read more
I have always shopped here to support local when I can, but I am done with this location--especially their bakery department.... There is an older lady there that is extremely rude, condescending and flat out grumpy. If you don't like serving people, youmight want to consider a different career. Very disappointing as I've heard from several people that the owners are very nicepeople. Read more
Horrible horrible experience with Tammy in the floral department. Deplorable experience, in that we came early off a flight from... out of province for a funeral. She didn't have many flowers in stock put out, but had many flowers in the back. After explainingour circumstances and need for flowers for a funeral, she refused to help us. She said her reputation as a florist was moreimportant, and that she couldn't bring herself to sell flowers she hadn't "shucked" yet. We stop by Sobeys often when we come to Sylvan Lake. The produce is very fresh, and the pastries are excellent. But my one... highlight was last week when we stopped there to get some chicken salad. They were out, and when I asked the lady at the delicounter, she immediately offered to make me some, and did so right away. This is service that goes far beyond the normal. Thankyou ma'am. Had an amazing experience here today. First went to get my wife a bday cake for her 40th. The lady who does the cake decorating... was just about to leave. Then she stopped went back and lettered the cake for my wife.when we were about to.check.out anotherlovely lady came up inflated the balloons for us. Good selection, clean with a variety of local products available. Be aware they only offer 90s style paper bags with no handles,... so unless you have reusable bags, be ready to carry awkward bags in your arms. Read more
