Ever since woman who worked at Dollar General now works here, I cannot order carry out or a cappuccino. They state they do not... do that? Pretentious to the hilt. I no longer go there with my mom for anything. Ellen, if she hasn't, should retire. It is mostunfortunate that they cater only to those they 'believe' are worthy. That is classism. I am a G7 Fed and helped businesses likethis stay alive during pandemic. All that money they put into that place to serve elitist self entitled, those they think theymake all the money. I drive a nice car, have a nice job? My money is as green so I do not understand this treatment. I will notreturn and they're associated with A Matter of Taste also, so don't go there either unless you want to be treated like a 3rdclass citizen. Just Nope. Read more
Excellent pastries and the breakfast is pretty good. Prices are slightly higher than I prefer, however the service was good too.... Generally a 20 minute wait every time we?ve gone in, but the waiting area is large and situated by the bakery. Definitely aregular. Recommend the oatmeal! Read more

Was invited to have breakfast with some friends who were co-workers many years ago. This was a suggestion to try it and they did... not disappoint either. Great food, service, never had to ask for anything. Unfortunately I didn't remember the server's name asI would highly recommend asking for him. Utmost professionalism and on his game. We all had a great time and enjoyed some greatfood. I had the apple pancakes..hmmm good. Highly recommend them with crispy bacon. They are also a bakery and the bake goodslooking scrumptious to try. These were probably some of the best Shrimp and Grits we had outside New Orleans. I got mine without bacon. I also grabbed a... plate of Peach French Toast which were exquisite. As you can see I cleaned the plate. However my fork is facing down at the 7o'clock position which means they've gained a new customer. The service was amazing. They were prompt, attentivwand consistent.Lastly the Bakery itself had sweets to die for. We ate definitely going back very soon. Read more
Not only does Ellen's have top notch customer service but their bakery items are incredible. Pictured is the White Chocolate... Strawberry cake. My family raved over it. Beyond delicious. 8in served 12 people. Kids enjoyed the bumpy cake cupcakes. Always afun selection to choose from. Read more
I've never eaten at Ellen's Bakery mostly because I'm on a fixed income and rarely eat out, but I've certainly taken advantage... of the bakery side. I can tell you (they'll likely figure out who I am from my "normal" order to take away) that the blueberrylemon muffins and the sourdough bread (sliced "normal") are the best, as are the great staff behind the counter.
