Went here for a birthday brunch for a friend with a small group. The food here is always good, great options for both sweet and... savory. Multiple people did want refills on tea, coffee, and water which we got once. It seemed as though once we paid there wasno more service, even though a few people still wanted refills. We have ordered carryout for our company several times from your restaurant and our orders are always between $200 - $275. Which... for lunchtime business, I would think a restaurant would be grateful. Today when a representative came to pick up the order,she was advised at that point that we were being charged 20% gratuity on a carryout order. If this is a new policy, it shouldhave been disclosed at the time of the order. We always leave a gratuity on our orders, but we have never been told how much weare going to leave. 20% on a carryout is excessive to say the least, especially since 4 out of 5 times our orders are incorrector missing items, and we need to make a second trip. Ordering carry out from this place was a complete disaster. I went inside and ordered the Crunchy French toast and Salmon Burger... with a side of ranch and Mayo and tipped 35%. I waited outside then came in to pick up my food and was told they don?t have thesalmon burger. I switched it to the Siracha Turkey burger without guac. When I got to the car with my food I found there was noranch or Mayo and had to go back in. When I got home I found the Siracha Turkey Burger was completely wrong and the CrunchyFrench toast had about one strawberry sliced on it. I would compare the French toast to a bad version of French toast sticks ina school lunch. Instead of eating this I ate day old bread from 5th tavern that was still much better. Read more
Awsome time here, staff is amazing and friendly. Lauren is the absolute best! I ordered the spinach egg white omelet, very light... and refreshing with a side of crunchy French toast. Everything here is great. I finished breakfast with a delicious mimosa. Read more
Haven't been here in a while they've changed a lot as far as the atmosphere decor, and now there's outside dining. First off,... our waitress Miranda was very professional and upbeat. She helped explain the menu to us as to I had certain allergies. We bothordered lunch. Couple suggestions would help the place out as well as bring more business. I would switch out the metal chairsat the tables for more comfier ones. The ones that they have are very uncomfortable outside. When we went to pay the tab I wentto go use the bathroom and it was very dirty. I didn't realize they were about to close. But I'm thinking to myself, whywouldn't they keep the bathroom up? To me the bathroom needs to be clean as much as the kitchen should be if not more. It's hardto get good employees I know cuz I'm a manager. But to give this a five-star, fix those couple things I mentioned, and thisplace would be A1! On the plus side I really like how they remodeled the inside of the restaurant and has a more bar feel now.And my wife loves mimosas so we're more likely to come back so she can indulge LOL. Otherwise it was a great experience. Willcome back and see how things are next time. One last thing would be really cool if they offered nacho chips and salsacomplimentary if you bought tacos. This is a truly luxurious dining experience... exquisite food...for an extremely reasonable price. The staff is energetic,... enthusiastic, and attentive to detail. I have frequented the Orchard Grill dozens of time over the years; not once have I had anunsatisfactory adventure in the culinary arts. This place is a real treasure of oaklanD County. Read more
