Had the corned beef sandwich, it was ok not great, especially when compared to Delis in NYC. The actual beef was sort of bland... and lacking much of the wonderful flavor a fresh, good, corned beef would have. I wish they had "fatty" corn beef like most inNYC and carved the corned beef at time of building the sandwich in place of presliced to keep the juices in the meat better. Ialso would have liked truly sour pickles in place of the pickles they supplied. Very nice looking place, self-serve, worth astop. Read more

Very friendly staff! The subs were just okay nothing crazy. I was disappointed when I asked if they could do hot subs and they... responded "we can microwave the meat but we can't out anything on the stove". I was craving a hot sub but went with a tuna subinstead and it was nothing to rave about but it was not terrible. The staff were absolutely awesome and the decor in the insideis pretty cool also. The sandwiches are incredible. I have been getting lunch here about twice a month for 2 years and have never once had a... complaint until just recently. They switched from the fresh crispy lettuce you see in all their photos to bland shreddedlettuce. Very disappointed in this change but the sandwich is still good. I recommend "The Pickle". Read more
