First time visit for curbside pickup. Spent huge money for cold unheated riggies, short rib cold and inedible due to extreme... toughness or overcooked. My experience with short ribs at other restaurants has always been tender fall off the bone moistbeef. Grits and shrimp despite again not at all warm/hot was good. Mushrooms a bit vinegar like and the shredded beef in puffpastry was ordinary and not amazing like we hoped it would be. So sad for we wanted to love our first time experience with thereopening. We were in town for the weekend and I found this little gem online. I'm so grateful that I did. Super cute ambiance, great... service, and the food.. ohhhhhh the food! Was disappointed in our visit to Laci’s we used to love the food, drinks, and service. Service still nice, drinks still good,... food however was awful. Pita tasted like it was fried in grease, they were hard and wasn’t editable. Mediterranean plate wasdisappointing, roasted Brussels sprouts we hard and not done at all then just through on raw almond slivers. They use to be sodelicious here. The flat bread was ok nothing to write home about. The charcuterie board was so bad more nasty pita, only onecheese that was not good, the board just didn’t go together. Awful olives with Thanos imports right across the street. Myfriends and I won’t be back as the food is not good like the old Laci’s was. A very disappointing customer. Read more
Oh WOW! First of all, so excited that this place reopened! New owners have kept the name and same concept. The menu has most... of the old favorites but a great peppering of new deliciousness! The new owners have hired an amazing chef. Food was absolutelydelicious and as always the staff is so welcoming. We had the Beef tenderloin on a cheesy potato pancake and a smoky blue cheesesauce. I will be craving this!! The curry and mango ???? tacos also will be my go to next time too! Flavors were so on pointand we can’t wait to go back and try some of our other favorites we didn’t get (ie Stuffed jalapeños wrapped in bacon).Great date night spot! Read more
The food is delicious! The portions were actually pretty large for tapas so the two of us were so stuffed we could barely eat... our 4 plates! The servers were awesome. We loved the atmosphere, it was very intimate. Only cons are they keep the temperaturepretty cold so pack a jacket and the water was infused with cucumber which they didn't tell us about before they poured it. Read more
Laci's is back and as tasty as ever! If you're not familiar this is all about sharable small plates and most fun when you have a... group of people to order a little of everything and split the bill. Overall everything we had was very good and I'll rank foryou what we had and give a thought. 1. Mac and Cheese Egg Rolls - perfection a must have 2. Chicken Riggies - Delicious at everybite 3. Brussel sprouts - plentiful, cooked well, nicely seasoned. 4. Apple flatbread - fun combination of flavors, plenty toshare. 5. Asparagus - Amazing taste, not worth the price, barely anything on the plate. 6. Mushrooms - Not bad, nothing special,cooked well, was oddly over flavored 7. Salmon - Actually it was delicious... Sadly after the first bite it was raw inside andwhen they brought it out again it was still undercooked... Thankfully the staff was wonderful and accommodating and we didappreciate their quick and helpful response to get us something else. Dessert we had the frozen bananas and apple pie bombswith ice cream. Both amazing!! Recommend letting the bananas warm up a little before you give yourself a brain freezethough. Took a girlfriend here for a birthday dinner. On the positive side, drinks and dessert were fantastic, top marks on those. Food... items were ok- mac and cheese egg rolls were great and also the best value, with the sliders also right up there. On the downside, Some shrimp dishes were quite small for the price, and the calamari was not edible - just overdone. Service was nice andthey took the calamari off the bill so I'd go back in the future. Unfortunately our car was broken into in the parking lot, andmy sister had several things stolen out of it. Not anyone's fault but definitely something to be cautious when visiting. Read more
