Ok I was excited to hear that there is a place that brought pupusas to upstate NY. I've been missing it since I originally from... Westchester county and surrounding area has El Salvadorian restaurants. I have tried from new Rochelle, Port Chester, Glen coveto NJ each had its own style but all are delicious. I wish I could say that this made place made amazing pupusas but I wasdisappointed ???? the pupusas are on that bland side not enough flavor and the curtido was definitely disappointing barely hasany taste to it. Plus they don't serve it with the Salsa Roja that complements that brings everything together. That was absentI missed that what I got was salsa Roja which it isn't the same. I wish I could recommend to try it but I can't. Pupusas arevery delicious when done right. Very disappointed. Staff is friendly though and the place is clean. I'll stick to going downstate pupusas. Not bad! I ordered some empanadas and they were pretty tasty. The beef and chicken empanada tasted similarly seasoned with taco... seasoning. I think there could be more depth to them than just taco seasoning flavor. Some really good beef empanadas I've hadtasted like juicy beef fat-- theirs tasted like sloppy joe almost. I think the chicken empanada was on the drier side, Iwould've like more cheese in it. On the bright side there was a ton of chicken and beef in the empanadas. The breading was good, slightly crispy and soft. They were like 2-3 dollars a piece, so you could argue you get what you pay for. If they got upped inquality I'm sure paying an extra dollar or two would be worth it. I'll definitely be coming back to try more stuff, they have afood line system I didn't try. Basically you get to choose meats, rice, and sides for like 10 or 13 bucks. Read more

Overpriced for the quality you?re getting. I got their ?large? plate which seems like a pretty standard size. The rice and... beans were both pretty basic and bland, so the beef stew was the only thing that gave the meal flavor. With a basic bottledwater, my total came to $16.20. I?ve been to other Mexican places where you get far better value. Read more

The food has always been tasty. We have been ordering here often since they opened. However, the amount they put in the... container gets smaller every time we order. I ordered many things. Today, my personal plate was beef stew with yellow rice.Today that included 8 cubes of beef (yes I was petty enough to count them because I was surprised). To put it into perspective, look at the past reviews, they used to put the meat in both small sides of the container then the beans over the rice. The mealcosts $12. Rice and beans are really cheap to make. Read more

This is a true hidden gem of Syracuse! Outstanding food every time I come without fail. The portion size is amazing! They... offer a variety of options for combo plates which seems to hit the spot every single time I walk through the door. Servicesprompt and always friendly. I'm happy to see that it is bilingual and I've encountered all walks of life from the communityinside. You won't be disappointed if you stop by. Pictured is my Cuban rice with beans barbacoa sauce on top and pulled pork. Read more

Very clean establishment, friendly staff food looked great. I order a Cuban Sandwich. I was very disappointed, missing... ingredients like the mustard, pickles, or mayo etc. And instead it had lettuce and tomatoes in it. The pork, very well seasonand I like the bread they use. But coming from a Cuban family and my grandmother always making it for us, I was looking forwardto it. Read more
