It took a while to get seated being that it was 9 o'clock and they didn't seem to be that busy. There was 9 of us though. Our... waitress, Connie, was awesome. Very aware of everything. A family member of mine works here and has for many years and we decided to patron this restaurant because of that and have a... pleasant meal. However, my family and I attended ( we didn't receive a family discount as we had hoped) and we actually receivedvery poor customer service. And I must say that one we did consult with the manager they really didn't have much input or seemto really be concerned with the following. [First off, we did ask for water, the water tasted so bad that we could not evendrink it!! I don't know what exactly is wrong with the water but it was terrible! The first waitress that waited on us was noton time with our breadsticks or drinks. And when she did bring us the basket of breadsticks there were three of us, but therewere ONLY three breadsticks in the basket (what!) and I asked her "there's only three breadsticks can't we have more", andbefore she gave a response she turned around to leave and I said, "wait can't we have those breadsticks you have" and shereplied, "no you won't like them they're burnt". Why in God's name would you ever deliver burnt breadsticks to a table to beginwith!! Everything that is to be delivered to a table first and foremost (as the waitress you must verify the order is correct,the items ordered, the appearance and or with ingredients per customers' request), YOU NEVER deliver anything to a customer'stable if it is not according to their order, No exceptions!! This is based upon my professional experience with over 40+ yrs. inthe industry of Hospitality. And I too, use to work for Olive Garden years ago. The drinks were very late in arriving to thetable. The Manager did come out and ask when I asked for him if there was a problem, I did mention to him first off the waterwas horrid could they please give us bottled water, I was told that the water was just the tap water and nothing else wasoffered as an option. My wife took to the Dewitt Olive garden this afternoon and Jacob C was our waiter and he made my birthday special for me. He... even came out to the parking lot to give me a piece of cake when he found out it was my birthday. You see I have Stage 4metastatic triple negative cancer and brain and lung so just being able to be here to celebrate is special. You are very luckyto have such a caring person works. Exactly what you expect at Olive Garden! Our server was very attentive and helpful.
Went for dinner tonight. Arrived at 4:45 and were told about 40 minutes for wait. Waited 55 minutes when we have noticed that 5... parties have been seated ahead of us. We check in with hostess several times and finally 75 minutes later they finally find atable. We waited for everything for our table including our drinks for at least 15 minutes. When we tried to explain to themanager that we were very displeased with the whole experience we were given $5 off after my son accidentally bought the gamepackage while fooling around on the tablet the waitress left on the table. The manager basically said oh well until I explainedwhy this was definitely not an “oh well” situation. 10 out of 10 do not recommend. Read more
