The time is 4:10 I have arrived ahead of my party of 3, and because they aren't here yet I'm told I have to go sit at the bar.... I'm 76 years old, I don't want to sit at a bar and drink or have chips and salsa, I want to sit at a table and order somethingto eat and drink until my friends arrive. But unfortunately San Miguel rules, are rules, so I'm not allowed to sit at a table.The food is great, I've been here before however due to their less than welcoming attitude I don't know when I'll be back. Icould understand this if they were busy, or had a full house, but if they have two other customers in here it's a lot. If youwant good food but a lack of friendliness and customer service this is the place for you. Read more
Honestly, it wasn't bad, it just wasn't good. I don't get the margarita reviews for this restaurant. From what I could tell it... was a lemon lime Gatorade with tequila in it. The old fashion was just as bad. We got the carnitas and the enchiladas and theywere bland but edible. So sad having been to the original location and knowing how good it could be. Wanted to sit on the patioon the most pleasant night of the summer and it wasn't possible. Definitely not worth our drive. Read more

Great place with excellent food. Great view of the river. It was rainy the day we went but this would be an incredible place to... sit outside in the summer, drink margaritas and snack on delicious Mexican food. Speaking of margaritas, they are huge. We gotthe 50 oz and those weren't the biggest. The menu is extensive and the service was great. We had a new server and she wasfriendly and accommodating. The hostess greeted us with a smile. Huge affordable Margarettas, I got a medium for a very reasonable price and some burritos texos (I think). lava cake for desert... was warm, moist and had some amazing chicolate. The dips are overpriced but the rest was fine. Nice view of the river, got tosee some osprey and herons fly by while eating dinner. Staff was friendly and the restaurant was clean. Everyone had a goodtime. Would recommend if you're looking for a nice Mexican restaurant in Syracuse. Read more
We really like San Miguels. They have a great selection on the menu and everything we've had has been awesome. The margaritas... are awesome too. Always get an extra shot, you'll thank me. Read more
