Unassuming venue with excellent service. The elotes and Peruvian chicken were the best of what we ordered. Got the meat plate... with chicken, sausage, steak, and pork, plus the elotes (limited special), the masa-coated calamari (interesting and tastytake), some pico de gallo, and two of the Pacific Ave Sunset cocktails. A great off the radar spot for South American fare. Great flavors. Burgers are awesome and the fries and aoli are a perfect... complement. Pork chop special was great. Appetizer prices are a little steep, but the entrees were reasonablly priced. Drinkswere decently portioned. Read more
I took my mom out to dinner for her birthday and the waitress was nice, awesome service- answered all questions and even made... recommendations. But the food was a bit bland and the pork nachos were warm (cheese wasnt even melted). I was expecting a bitmore authenticity with this spot. But the waitress was great. Read more
Went out tonight for a date night with my husband and had the ABSOLUTE best service. Our server was Michelle and she was... friendly and attentive. When she noticed the kitchen was slowing down she jumped into action and took every necessary step toensure her customers received five star service. She remained calm and just flowed as business as usual. Her other team matesjumped in as well to help check in and still provide service. This is a great restaurant, but I would highly recommend dining in vs ordering for take out. The meats were done to perfection,... but some side orders were skimpy on servings when it came to the side of rice & side of beans ordered, and they forgot the chipsfor the nachos. They forgot to say that the nachos come deconstructed when ordered for take out, so when we saw the extracontainers of fixings but no chips we were a little confused. After returning to the restaurant to explain the situation (wasunable to call ahead because the phone line was busy the whole time I tried calling from home), they were kind enough to replacethe nacho order with a fresh one. By that time, the other food at home was cold, but still pretty good aside from the friesthat would definitely be best fresh. I would possibly give them another try, just as dine in though. Read more
