Ordered fried chicken with 2 sides. The chicken was very good, with a crunchy coating and not too greasy. The mac-n-cheese... was very good as was the potato salad. The order taker was not friendly and seemed to be bothered that we were there and needsto be trained in customer service which is why 4 stars and not 5. We recommend Ezell's go for the food and just ignore theservice. Can't wait to go back and try the chicken tenders. Read more
Ezell's knows how to season their chicken and fry it to perfection. We all know that if we're regulars. They also make the most... amazing sweet, yeasty rolls. On my last 2 visits the customer service has been not so good... The counter employees lack warmthand spice unlike the chicken. It is truly sad when a local business has bad front of the store employees. It truly is a turnoff. I'll be looking in another direction the next time I want some spicy chicken. Read more
Chicken was dry.. seem like they re fry the chicken.. the rolls where over baked. This location use to be good.. I love ezells... chicken .. i hope they improve the queality.. Now im willing to do the trip to the federal way location. Read more
Not happy at all! Food tastes good but they are jipping you on tenders! I?ve been going to Ezell?s since there was just the one... by Garfield HS in Seattle. Now when you order a pound of tenders they will only give you 3/4 of that. This is my fourth timecoming here where I?ve opened the box and have been disappointed. Got home and weighed it on our food scale and sure enough,it?s only 12.5oz! Prices have gone up but they can?t even give you the amount of food you purchase. And today the bbq beans weredry on top of everything else. Gonna have to find another local chicken place to frequent. Update 8/10/22: Went back after myprenatal appointment across the street at St Joseph?s. Big mistake. The baked beans aren?t fully cooked! They are hard and ?pop?in your mouth instead of being soft. The bbq sauce hasn?t even properly blended into the beans. Bush?s baked beans would havebeen better! Now I gotta put them in the oven to see if I can fix them. Ordered 1/2lb chicken strips spicy. Got 6 tiny skinnypieces and they were NOT spicy or even seasoned. At this point Popeyes has better chicken strips. Also ordered 4pc combo withhalf/half asked for white meat spicy and dark meat original. My breast was NOT spicy. The mac and cheese was bland. I just cannot with this location anymore. Waste of $30, bland, unseasoned and poorly cooked food plus the shooting that happened there afew weeks ago. This location is poorly managed because the cook/chef should be fired. This location is tarnishing the Ezell?sname and I can only recommend the Seattle proper locations at this point. Read more
I've came to this Ezells 3/4 times. Every time I get my food it's underwhelming. My roll is burnt and hard. Baked beans are... crunchy. Mashed potatoes taste like they were frozen. Mac and cheese has zero flavor. I wish I was exaggerating. But thislocation ain't it. Definitely not like the ones in Seattle. Read more
2nd time fail and not going to give it a 3rd. Quality needs to be checked more regular. Mac n cheese noodles were overcooked,... made for a mushy treat. Mashed tatoes n gravy were luke warm and served with a half baked potato. Sad to say but banquet spicychicken was spicier and not overcook/burnt. The adult chicken tenders were the size of McDonald's chicken nuggets. Friendlystaff though. Read more
I have been craving for their chicken and I?m a regular customer. I ordered it online and I found hair in the chicken and also I... ordered spicy chicken and they gave me regular instead. Last time also I guess it was 2 weeks ago I got totally different orderand didn?t get want i ordered but this time is not acceptable at all.. A ?HAIR? no way. Read more
Haven't been here for some time so at 6:21 pm I ordered some chicken gizzards, which are or were the best around, online and... started heading to restaurant to get my order. Get a call @ 6:27 pm saying they don't make specialty orders this late. What? It is not that late. Now I have to track if they cancel the credit card charge, since they were certainly willing to take mymoney. Read more
