I am gluten free. I ordered some drunken noodles off of the menu and requested to su. Tamari for soy sauce through uber eats. A... staff member actually called me to say that most Thai food uses gluten free soy sauce so they do not have tamari. When I tellyou the car this restaurant took to ensure I was ok was over and above was un understatement. We will now go there exclusivelyfor Thai! Read more

#1 Thai food in Tacoma. But this rating goes beyond the food, it?s also the lovely family that works here. They are extremely... kind, and work very hard to have such a beautiful restaurant. Full compliments your way. Thank you Galanga Thai. Especially forthose fresh rolls last night when I came over from next door. ?? Read more

I just had a dinner date with my friend, if you are around the Tacoma area this is a place you want to visit. Their food is very... delicious but tastes, and very spicy. Will visit more often Read more

It was like a story. A man, a boy and a dog. Ronald McDonald wouldn't feed us. We got to strolling and came to a great place to... eat outside. You might see me there sometime. Read more

If you are reading this review, this restaurant is a MUST for you to try. This place was a three minute walk from the Hotel... Murano where we were staying and decided to try it on a whim. I am so glad we stopped by because this place is amazing. Iordered the drunken noodles with spring rolls and it was delicious! Not only that, but our order took around 15 minutes to beready and was great proportions for the price. They have gluten free options for their dishes too! Highly recommend! Read more

Hands down the BEST Thai food in or near Tacoma (Indochine has nothing on Galanga!) family owned , always great food, great... atmosphere - they have the hoisin sauce for the salad rolls (not the peanut sauce) and they are delicious. ( try them with tofu) I love that they close down every year for a couple weeks to travel home to Thailand to visit family - so sweet! Great groupof people - delicious food Read more

Ordered the Pad see ew w/ beef, 4 star (their max), salad rolls and Tom yum soup 4 star to go. Easy to call and order. Pad see... ew: good flavor profile that had proper ingredients and was not oily at all. Great portion sizes. Wish there was an ounce or twomore off beef to justify the price. It had a nice kick but wasn?t off the charts spice level for my taste. Salad rolls:phenomenal fresh ingredients! They had a chili sauce instead of a peanut sauce which I absolutely loved and would order againand again. Tom yum soup: heavy tomato flavor, good soup, did not disappoint, spice flavor was accurate. Overall, a really goodplace to eat Thai food. Higher meat content is all we wish. Read more

This place is awesome. The wife and I stumbled upon it tonight and plan on coming back. We tried a few different plates and... though they were all fantastic! Drunken Noodles, Pad Thai, and Pad See Iew! The service is great and the wait staff are veryfriendly! It's very clean and the atmosphere is good also. The lighting is on the low side but that doesn't bug us at all. Thereis also an outdoor eating area. It wasn't very busy the night we went and from the looks of it, it's not a busy dinner spot.Great place for a quite evening. Read more
