Best pho place in Tacoma! Their portions are fantastic, even with their small bowl. It gets filled to the brim! Also, they... aren't stingy with the meat in their pho bowls like other places are. I do wish their bubble green tea was actual tea instead ofmatcha powder, but it was good regardless. If you visit them, you should try an order of their caramelized fish sauce chickenwings. Mediocre food. Big portion. Tofu is fried, not steamed or grilled and doesn’t indicate on the menu nor do they ask. You have... to order and pay first at the bar. Depressing looking place. The water fountain at the entrance is so loud it sounds like yourfaucet is always running. Gives you a headache. Also they ran out of Vietnamese Coffee. At least the service was friendly. Read more
I love love this place. I wanted to write another review. This is one of my top 3 Pho places in Tacoma. However there broth... isn't always consistent. Some days it's amazing (knock your taste buds out) then at other times it seems like the Pho brothwasn't cooked long enough. Which isn't true because traditional Pho is cooled for very long hours so you can get that greatamazing flavor. Regardless of the inconsistency still a top Pho place in Tacoma. Go check it out and enjoy some great VietnamesePho. They don't have a big variety of other dishes. However the chicken wings...phenomenal and on Wednesday buy one order andget other free. Owners were inviting and sincere. They sell a variety of food on their menu.You can use their QR code to order digitally or the old fashion way. On top of that they also offer merchandises and home madechili sauce. A bit run downed inside, but their food is delicious. Although prices are a bit expensive, their quality is worthmentioning. They have a self serve water area, but be cautious at times because people have the tendency to drink and refill atthe same spot. Overall a good recommendation for a quick spot to grab and go. Dine in experience left a lot to be desired. I love Phó and the reason I stopped in was because my favorite place is closed for... the holiday. The dine in bowls are the same as take out and they keep them separate from the trash, which makes me think theyreuse it which is weird to me. The same person who rang us up also was our waitress and made our boba tea. She ended up becomingpretty backed up; I highly recommend the owner to hire another person, that way people aren’t turned down because one personis overwhelmed with too many orders. The phó itself was just okay. The broth had little to no meat flavor, and mainly justcinnamon and cardamom which is super disappointing. Needless to say I won’t be back, but their boba tea was really goodalthough pricy for how small it was. Not sure the can like lid on top is a great design either since it’s metal. Read more
