The staff were friendly and both the pastries and the coffee were great. I ordered the wrong coffee/milk for my friend (which... was my bad) and they offered to make her a new drink free of charge. I will be back because of the amazing service alone! (..butwould also return for a tasty latte.) My favorite coffee shop in Tacoma. Great people and atmosphere
If you like good baked goods (from Moonrise Bakery), solid coffee, and friendly service, ignore the chain coffee shop right... across the street and come here. They'll chat you up while making your coffee and will never rush you (event with a line out thedoor). Their almond croissant (called "twice baked") is hands down the best sweet croissant I've ever had. Sometimes the bakingis unevenly proofed, but it still tastes the same. They do use plastic-coated paper cups but will happily take your reusablemug. In addition, all their bags and boxes are paper. Plenty of vegetarian baked goodness. Read more

Probably the best vanilla latte I have ever had. It is smooth, vanilla syrup does not overpower the taste of milk or coffee,... coffee is not too acidic. Mostly likely my favorite coffee shop now, just sucks I live so far away, because I would come hereeveryday. Their staff is friendly and personable. Cute little shop with plenty of seatings both indoor and outdoors. Friendly barista. I got an iced latte with their seasonal... flavor and oat milk, and one of their seasonal scone. Both were a bit disappointing. The espresso did not taste good and theespresso to milk ratio was a bit off. The scone was hard and very dry. Read more
