DO NOT GO HERE This was our final chance for Red Robin after other subpar experiences. Tonight I went with my partner and my 4... year old. We ordered the pretzel bite appetizer, two burgers, and a kid’s pizza. It took close to 45 minutes to get ourappetizer and when it arrived the pretzel bites were cold and the cheese was congealed. Why didn’t we complain and ask for atleast new cheese? Because there were no employees to be seen in the dining area. When our food arrived 10-20 minutes after that,we immediately asked to boxes and figured we’d just eat at home. While both my kid and my partner got a normal serving offries, I got the sad pile of cold end of batch fries. I’d say we should have checked the burgers before we left because minehad a ton of pink when I asked for none, but better to throw it on a pan at home than wait another hour for it to be“fixed.” We didn’t even get offered refills on our empty drinks until right before our food arrived so they came as wewere packing up and leaving. Red Robin is a solid 4 star but when the floors are dirty means the restaurant is dirty, appearance is a sign of cleanliness and... cleanliness is everything during these COVID days. The food was good as usual the refills of fry’s and drinks were awesome asusual but the floors were completely unacceptably filthy for a restaurant. Another reason for the low rating is when we put ourname on the waiting list the the lady told the couple in front of us the wait was 20 mins then is it was 35 and asked IF westill wanted to wait, she looked very surprised and seemed disappointed when we said we will wait and out text stated 40 minwait but in actuality the wait was only 15 mins. The food was really good. The restaurant was pretty much empty so I felt comfortable taking my mask off and celebrating my... husband's birthday with the family. The hubby and I ordered the fish&chip .. very tasty. One of the girls ordered the mushroomburger and grilled chicken sandwich. Everyone enjoyed themselves. We met my daughter here for lunch since it's close to the mall and she had a hair appointment to follow. The food was delicious... and the bottomless fries was a treat. The shakes were also delicious and there were multiple offerings of any kind ofsandwiches. We didn't wait very long for our table and our server was very nice. My daughter did not finish your meal and shewas able to take home her leftovers. We had tables for four to see or we could also sit in a booth but we chose the tables. We went to the location in Tacoma on steele Street. We love to start with the shortie stack of onion rings (6) of them. They are... the best of any we have tried. My husband had the whiskey BBQ burger and I had the guacamole burger with extra guacamole. Theburgers are so big I couldn't finish the last couple bites. If you want a good hamburger red robin is the place to go. Allburgers come with unlimited fries. Our server James was very friendly. Also there sweet tea is Perfect. UPDATE MARCH 5th Wetried this location again today. They offered to seat us in the bar area with a shorter wait time..I didn't ask for extraguacamole and you couldn't tell there was any on the burger so I asked for a side of it but had wait awhile to get the attentionof our server, Kathleen. When we checked out on the kiosk it couldn't print the entire receipt. After finally getting Kathleenattention to ask for a copy of the receipt and a to go cup for my tea,,it took asking several times and about a 15 minute to getthe receipt and cup. We felt that since the bill had been paid and the tip added in service was no longer a priority. We willnever come to this location again.
