This is definitely a place to be. We came through by accident on our way to Mount Rainier during our 15 days road trip from... Ohio. The food was very delicious. We ordered Kao Piak Sen, Lao sausage with sticky rice with Lao Jeo, chicken wings combo. KaoPiak Sen was the best I've tried in years. The owner is down to earth and very genuine. Really disappointing - nothing I had was any good. The Lao spicy basil lacked flavor and was way more oily than any stir fry... I?ve ever had; Tom Kha was tangy but also strangely flavorless. Spice levels aren?t accurate. Echoing a previous reviewer, thistasted like sad fast food, and I kinda feel bad for the other reviewers who think it?s great. Someday they?ll have actually goodThai food and their minds will be blown. I didn?t really think I was picky about Thai food before tonight, but I definitelywon?t be back to Sweet Rice.
