The server/bar tender that served us was incredible and I am going to become a regular just because of him. The Chupacabra was... the tastiest I have ever tried. I laughed a bit when I noticed the Juicy Lucy style and the gentlemen said it's not likeMinnesota Jucy Lucy. Amazing experience. Thanks to you all!! Read more

This was.......I don't know what to call it. I've been wanting to try one of the Chef's dishes for years. I was never able to... make it to De La Terre and was excited to find out he was serving inside the Harmon, less than a mile from my home. We enteredand it's awkward and weird to say the least. I get that it's two different restaurants, but we waited almost 3 minutes forsomeone to greet us, then they sat us and we mentioned we had reservations and they said "Oh...you want the Spice Lab..." anddirected us back to the lobby to wait a bit more. We had our host/server show up and seat us. Us and two other peolple at 7pmon a Saturday had me a bit worried. We ordered a couple appetizers and waited for them. In the meantime the host/waiter asked usif we had any questions. This is where I was a little stunned. I asked him about the steak. Specifically what cut it was. Hestuttered, then said "I don't know..." Then said, "I do know it's beef....". Here's the thing. He didn't even laugh. I thoughtit might be a joke, but I still to this moment don't know what the hell was happening.....lol. He left and came back a fewminutes later to explain it was a ribeye, which I wasn't feeling that night. I honestly tried to talk my friend into leavingafter we ate the appetizers (which were pretty good. The garlic bread was really really good and the salt cod fritters weregood, but not quite what I was expecting (a little more mushy inside than I had assumed they werre)), but he talked me intostaying. I got the prawns, which were really good, but my whole night was just a bit off by that point. My friend had thesandwich, The Francesihna, which looked AMAZING and I was told it was the best sandwich he ever had. Here's the thing. If I'mgoing to a restaurant like this I don't want a "sandwich", really. It was a fork and knife sandwich, but still... I always takepictures and I was just so underwhelmed that I didn't even think of it. I wanted to LOVE this place. Did I hate Read more

Frankly speaking the food and experience was far below one star. When we made reservation there, we didn't realize that... obviously talented Blake would offer canned garbanzo beans and burned (literary burned) salt cod fritters for dinner...whatelse? Grilled trout (again with cannellini beans out of can), steak with stale potato...rather pathetic. The reason my husbandand I like going out is to get experience and to create memories of food we can't prepare at home. That was experience we willremember...$150 plus tips for the food we did not enjoy. As my husband said, "It is good that we have money to throw..." Inaddition, it is a dirty place to eat, a dirty kitchen that was just here in plain view, a human hair in my dish, really dirty(simply unusable) bathrooms - I can't even think of anyone working in the kitchen will use this bathroom...I am sick. This restaurant came highly recommended by a food writer friend. I live on the other side of the country, but I was looking for... a place to order my 78 year old mom a thanksgiving dinner, She’ll be celebrating alone this year. The restaurant does notnormally offer delivery, and I imagine they’re strapped thin with the restrictions, but they’re going to bring it to her! Mymom has been socially distancing alone at home since the spring, so joys like this really brighten her spirits. I’m sothankful for the restaurant, their delicious food, and their incredible service! Thank you! Read more
