Superb experience overall but this review is to commend our SPECTACULAR server Chris, who had the best attitude of any server... I've ever encountered (and I'm in the biz), he was gracious, detailed, professional and ensured our experience at Viva Tacomawas memorable! We had the Crab Dip, Mac 'n' Cheese, Taco Tuesday special and took home the peanut butter bar, lemon lavender andmacaroon cookies. This is a frequent haunt of mine . The food is excellent I?m partial to the soup specificity so much so they may call me the... soup lady. I?ll take it . Anyways, great staff wonderful food and lovely atmosphere for dining in. I just wanted to show myappreciation here they?ve provided many a excellent lunch for me. So thank you to all the staff. We were coming from a long day of everything and decided to eat here. Our server Chris was absolutely amazing! He was on it, he... was knowledgeable and entertaining. Really made our night! And easily a reason to return! Food was pretty good too! I had thePhilly cheese steak (minus the nut-based cheese). As a non-vegetarian, I was absolutely blown away how tasty it was. Very friendly staff, but definitely is not the same as when they were in the other location. The food doesn?t taste the same :(,... it tasted way over seasoned, Like so concentrated specialty the BBQ and mushroom melted sandwiches. The Mac and cheese weordered for our daughter was very sour tasting. But the cauliflower winds were good. My family and I used to go so much yearsago and tried it again at their new location but we are sad to said it just wasn?t good. But the waitress was very nice andfriendly. Beautiful vibe. Great service, welcoming & excited staff. The garden veggie pizza was absolutely delightful- thin crust, great... sauce, amazing toppings (I am from NYC, and have eaten many pies). Cauliflower wings were a bit too salty for me and I lovesalt. The Thai peanut rice was enjoyable. Desserts? 10/10- Pure magic. Great music too. Much gratitude for this place being here????????
