Good food, friendly staff, great service and chill ambience.
$31 for a medium bowl of Pho that was bland and didn't even fill the bowl, and for an appetizer of 4 medium sized shrimp.... Thankful I didn't order a drink! The shrimp were good, but not for $10. Dogs running around inside the place and barking ateach other. One staff person for a packed place (not the restaurants fault but lots of kids running around and screaming) on aFriday night with lots of tourists in town. Gave the solo bar/waitstaff person a fat tip but this Tahoe City local will not beback and will not recommend. Read more
The folks working there were so nice & took good care of us. The food was great, even for a hot dog. Just overall a great place!... They have attached to the Cafe, a skating rink, which we gladly participated in & had a blast. It started snowing while we werethere, making it all the more fun. Read more
Incredible welcome event! We booked our rehearsal dinner and welcome reception with Suzanne at Cafe Zenon. It?s a funky,... unassuming little cafe at the golf course, but it boasts an impressively creative menu and fantastic bar selection. Suzanne maybe a little hard to get ahold of, but don?t let that deter you (she has a tiny staff and they are jamming all winter with thesledding families). She has heart of gold and will do anything to make your event a success. From a custom BBQ menu on theiramazing brick grill outside, to colluding to set-up a surprise slide show with the parents, to a split check between the twofunctions, to extending the event end-time (twice), I was always greeted with a giant smile and a ?You?re all set!?, ?Noproblem? or ?What can I get you??. Been here several times. Been under new ownership for around 2 years. Bartenders are legit and service is great. Food has also... improved. Not your typical golf course Cafe. Worth a cidit when in Tahoe City. Read more

This place is a great option for breakfast during the summer, especially if you want to escape the crowds. It's tucked away out... of sight and had absolutely no wait on a Friday. It has a rustic, modern-hip decor, great drinks, GOOD coffee (stumptown Frenchpress - better than anything else in town), and a great menu. Service was excellent. Can't recommend this place enough.
