We just got back from a fabulous dinner at Christy Hill. We’ve enjoyed so many dinners that have yet to disappoint here. I had... the opportunity to let Robin know how fantastic both this menu/food is and every time we’ve dined at Pinetta has been onpoint. The views at Christy Hill keep us coming back as Lake Tahoe is such an incredibly special place to both my husband and I.If you like Lamb, the Moroccan Lamb is one of my all time favorite dishes. Definitely try it! Read more

Wonderful dinner right on the lake with beautiful views. Definitely worth the splurge if you are visiting the north Lake Tahoe... area. Favorite was their take on a sticky toffee pudding cake, so good. But really everything was delicious. Lots of indoor andoutdoor seating, staff was friendly and attentive. Read more

The view is lovely and the service was good. I think the food is way to expensive compared to level of quality. We got the lamb... and the tagliatelle. The lamb was a to good piece of meat to put so much spice on it would have fitted better for a stew. Thetagliatelle was alright but would as an example have preferred mushrooms, garlic, parsley, butter and some greens at that pricepoint. The Panna Cotta we got for dessert was good and liked it with the short bread. My daughter had pasta with nothing on it was 15 dollars.. I do like they inform that the prices are high before you go and it is not because I don't wanna pay for food agladly do buh the quality have to match. They have a good wine list. Read more

For the price we were expecting to be wow-ed more. We had the bread and olives for an appetizer which were good. For our entrees... we had the halibut and lamb. The halibut was cooked well and tasted fresh, however, it was missing a layer of flavor. The dishneeded an acid element to elevate it. The lamb was a little rough. We are partial to never having lamb precut. The mashunderneath was gritty so the textures were contrasting in a not so appealing way. Perhaps a regular mashed potato would havebeen better. And the pairing of the olive stuffed peppers was harsh. A fresher vegetable like a roasted carrot would have beenbetter. A little disappointed for our date night, but the view was great! Read more

My first time in lake Tahoe and Christy hill was my pick for my one-year anniversary with my girlfriend and we were not... disappointed at all! We unfortunately were running late and were still seated in the best seat to view the sunset of Lake Tahoe. We started with a goddess salad and chicken liver moose which came out fast and fresh with a lovely glass of rose for both of uswith a hibachi fish with some thin crisps and a delicious pork belly with a cooked watermelon on the bottom which wasinteresting. Finally, our server was nice enough to provide us with a chocolate bread pudding with whipped cream and a candlefor us. 5/5 experience and a great way to end the weekend trip. I highly recommend this place as they have a great menu for anyoccasion. Read more

Christy Hill is excellent. The Moroccan Spiced Lamb Loin is not to be missed. So delicious. So is the English Toffee Cake. We... didn't even remember to take a photo until it was half gone. The staff was wonderful. Our server was knowledgeable, attentive, and friendly. We will make a point to return to Christy Hill every time we visit Lake Tahoe. Read more

Food: 4/5 Service: 4/5 Ambiance: 4/5 Overall: A good place in town to eat a smattering of flavors. The extended... review... Food: Hamachi Tartare - 5/5 - A very refreshing mix of tastes that made for a very balanced dish. This one is amust. Lamb Loin - 4/5 - A very tender piece of meat with some great tasty puree to compliment the dish. Pork Belly - 5/5 -This was one of my favorite dishes of the night. The meat was tender and the sauce helped to give it just that kick you needed. The flavor of the dish made me want to lick the dish clean. Veal Sweetbreads - 3/5 - I think this dish needed just a littlebit more. Pretty standard fare. Gnocchi with Duck - 3/5 - I was super excited for this dish. I think it could have used a bitmore duck. English Toffee Cake - 3/5 - I have had my fair share of sticky toffee puddings and based upon the description I wasthinking this would be similar. It wasn't quite as rich as I would have liked. Service: 4/5 - Friendly and attentiveservice. Ambiance: 4/5 - It's a cute restaurant situated right next to the lake. Read more
