I love the pizza there, it?s probably the best in Tahoe I won?t lie. Whether you are dining in or taking out the pizza is nice... and hot and warm and the cheese is so stretchy and they give pretty good amount of slices to! While staying in the Homewood area of Lake Tahoe we were hungry for pizza. The place we had tried the last time we were in the... area was closed, Monday must have been their off day. So we went searching for a backup place to enjoy our pie. We searchedGoogle and this place looked like a great choice and we ventured out. What a surprise was waiting for us. The restaurant isvery small and basically used for takeout. There are 4 high-stool tables on the patio outside along with 2 tables adjacent theside of the building. But if you decided to dine at the restaurant the best is yet to come, and I am not even talking about thepizza. The views from the Truckee River that runs along the restaurant?s porch area are spectacular. What a fantastic place toenjoy a pizza. And when the pie was ready, it did not disappoint. I love thin style pizza and this was truly a masterpiece! Ifyou like to try different toppings on your pizza, are you in for a good time. They have a huge blackboard just filled with somany choices, it is hard to finally order. But whatever toppings you finally decide on, you will love your pie that much more.The pizzas look pretty much like pizza anywhere you order them, but the best part lies in the final test, eating. And FrontStreet Pizza is a WINNER!! Give it a try, you will not be disappointed having your pie and looking at the spectacular views. Read more
Dropped kids off to float the Truckee and stayed to enjoy a slice of Spicy Thai Chicken pizza and work on their deck while rafts... floated by. Great view, great pizza and friendly staff! Read more
The Mexican Food - Pleasantly Surprised:) The "asada" tacos and burritos were solid. Also had a large pizza, good flavor with a... "fair" amount of toppings. More of a "TO-GO" place since the indoor seating is sparse, and lots of mosquitoes outside on thepatio (dinner time). Food prices are good/reasonable compared to "other" restaurants in Tahoe City. This is a "busy place" soplan accordingly. For what it is, definitely 5 stars, and we have been there several times. Read more
I stopped here today on my way back from visiting Lake Tahoe. Small joint baking up hot and delicious pie right in front of you!... Great tasting ingredients and the trust was crispy and is awesome on its own! Will definitely try it again on my next trip.Pictured is the Old Engine! Read more
Decent pizza spot with a good selection of different types of slices. Their crust is very thin and crispy. I think they make... each slice as you order it vs having entire pies ready. Service was a bit mute and unhelpful - just pointed to the board.Reasonable prices for the area. Read more
Delicious pizza! Loved all of the options - and we ordered nine different ones! Only downside was that I tried to order over the... phone and was on hold for 15 minutes before getting disconnected. I ended up driving down and ordering in person and wassurprised and impressed that nine pizzas were ready in 40 minutes - on a Friday night! Read more
We ordered chicken tacos, pulled pork sandwiches, burritos, and a pizza. It?s amazing that all four of those things tasted... great. While pizza is in the name, I would argue the Mexican cuisine was the best offering. Great outdoor seating and awesomeservice. Prices are reasonable for the area.
