Food could use more flavor! The wasabi is dull and the miso soup was lacking tofu and seaweed. The volcano roll was a 5 on a... 1-10. I walked in and ordered takeout. The girl at the register was friendly and knowledgeable. She gave me an estimated wait time and... she was fairly accurate with it. The food was exactly what I ordered, delicious, presented nicely in its special to-gocontainers and the hostess made sure I had all the sauses and chopsticks that I needed. When you walk into the restaurant thereare three long rows of seating. The row of seating on the far left seems to be staff work area and it's a little disconcertingto the eye. It's regular restaurant tables but they weren't set up for dining and it just gave the room an unbalanced look. Bythe time I actually thought about taking pictures the photographability of the three Maki that I ordered was shot. Nobody wantsto look at my half-eaten dinner. Read more
I ordered takeout was supposed to be ready in 15 minutes. Took an extra 45 minutes, spent over $140 and the food was just ehh.... Chicken, shrimp and steak in all the meals was cooked so well it was dry. Read more
•Just wanted to add to this. Came again and ordered dessert, didn't receive that and had to wait after finishing dinner for 40... minutes. The waiter didn't say anything about our dessert and excused himself saying he was told he had two tables. One of 8 andone of 3 then myself and my partner. After having a long day working hearing someone complain whole also not receiving dessertis just a bummer. This is the only proper asian place to come to sit down and eat around here. And every time I come here theworkers talk to us almost until we leave, we hardly ever eat unsupervised or unaccompanied.This restaurant is okay. Better thanNOT having a sushi place I guess. But this time is not cool. Nor only did they not de-vein the shrimp this time. Only noticesbecause I saw something black coming out of the shrimp. There's also a hair on our sushi plate. We ate our food before we thought to take a picture. However—this place was absolutely delicious! We ordered take out, and the... estimated pickup time was spot on. It only took about 25 minutes for our food to be ready. I went into the restaurant to pick upmy food and the restaurant was nice and clean. I was greeted right as I entered. We got the food home and absolutely devouredit. My husband and I ordered hibachi and our daughter had chicken lo mein. The vegetables were perfectly cooked, as was thesteak, shrimp and chicken. The yum yum sauce is delicious! I could literally drink it. We will absolutely be making this aregular spot! So glad we found it! Read more

The food here was good .... for Talladega. $10 for a lunch special of steak and veggies with a side of fried rice. Quick... service at first. However, come with good company to help pass the time while you wait for your meal, it does take a littlelonger than usual. I was pleased and will go again, just probably not as often as most would. But it is one of the better foodoptions for Talladega. Read more
