overall pretty good ! we got the dry lemon pepper wings, an order of lemon pepper and teriyaki, and the what a jerk sandwich,... and then we split a basket of fries. the lemon pepper wings weren’t my favorite, they were good but they were just missingsomething. the teriyaki wings were pretty good though, and my friend really liked the what a jerk sandwich, so def recommendthat. overall the staff was really friendly and helpful, we had a delay with one of our entrees but they helped us fix the issueand even gave my friend a discount for the wait, and just generally were really nice ! also good to know: island wing company isdog friendly on the patio :) there was a very cute and well behaved labradoodle sitting at the table next to us, so a goodoption if you have dogs ! The experience wasn't that great for our main courses. The Mac was okay, the boneless veggie wings were not that great. We got... dessert and sadly I forgot to take pics. Second time I came to this place and for the second time it took forever to get our drinks, food and service. My wings were over... fried, hard and they tried to mask it with the sauce for the second time. This is definitely the last time I will eat here. This was my first visit and before this I had never heard of this restaurant. We were a party of seven on a Saturday. It was... about a 15 minute wait which was ok. Our server was polite and knowledgeable. My only complaint would be that some of the itemswe ordered did not come out with the rest of the food. So one person in our party had to wait for an extended amount of timewhile everyone else ate. Not really sure what happened but I would still consider returning. I do love that the wings are bakedand not fried and that they have healthier options to choose from. They have several big screens and drink specials which tendto draw those who enjoy that. Island wing co. has some of the best wings in Tallahassee with there wide variety of flavors and sauces. We came out tonight for... my sisters birthday and the atmosphere was absolutely perfect! I loved the outside seating.. Gave off a island style resortvibe. The service was outstanding, thank you Amanda and the drinks were perfect. We had a few apps to share starting with thereal tuna fish salad not caned, the coconut shrimp were grilled as well as the fries.. Not a fan there. The burger slider andsausage sliders were very good. The chicken nachos were really great.. Gave off a nice smokey flavor. The cheese sticks wereaverage or standard. So, we went to Island tonight and donated blood and received free appetizers. MJ was our server. She was very nice and... attentive. We had the Caribbean shrimp, which was delicious. We also ordered the Margherita Flatbread, and it was not to ourtaste, we only ate 2 pieces when we decided we didn't like it. The balsamic drizzle was very sweet. I brought this to MJ'sattention. All she said was she was sorry and processed out credit card to pay out bill. I was surprised that she didn't bringthis to the manager's attention. So we left the food and went home.
