It?s so disheartening when Miller?s Ale steakhouse manager Stephen in Tallahassee at 722 Apalachee Pkwy Tallahassee, FL 32301... has poor customer service and a demonstrated poor choice of discriminatory behavior, mannerisms, and undesirable aggression. Tosay the least, if you are short staffed ask your customers if they?d like something to drink and to try clearing the walkway.Instead, you insult them by saying ?go outside or go somewhere else? is unacceptable. In celebration of my nephew who isattending FAMU, we choose Millers. Not by happenstance, but because of the experience we?ve had in Tampa. The discriminationthat we face as African-Americans in society is enough but to also face the same disgraceful behaviors in such a prestigiousestablishment is demoralizing. Truth be the told the presentation of the food could?ve been better especially the dishes chosen I was expecting to be presented... with clean plating and a full dish of food . unfortunately that wasn?t the case . I ordered the steak & chicken fajita meal which the overall look of the meal gave off the impression of it being rushed and lack of effort this was disappointing giventhe fact that at the time we went it wasn?t busy so the fact that my meal wasn?t tendered with care is Absurd . The calamari wasgreat no complaints but again the plates could?ve easily been Wiped off but wasn?t . And lastly the cocktails ? unbelievable Ipersonally have become a light weight over the years so my intake for alcohol is very limited to give me any sort of buzz andthe fact that I ordered a huge cocktail and not a single buzz effect happened was truly ridiculous, the cocktails were filledwith ice and definitely lacked liquor. The only reason I?m not giving this a 2 is because our server at the time ?Jack? made usfeel very welcome and gave us his honest opinion about certain food items on the menu which was greatly appreciated. I ordered from this Miller's to go to take back to my hotel and am doing a low carb diet. That being said, this picture doesn't... do much justice to the quality of food I received. I had grilled salmon, double broccoli, and a side caesar. The salmon wascooked perfectly and had a ton of grill flavor. No "fishy" taste at all and the broccoli and salad were good as well. I was soimpressed that I actually ordered an entree salad from here the next night and they will certainly be in my regular rotationwhen I visit. The online ordering process was a breeze, pick up was no issue both orders were correct and ready when I was toldthey would be. This Miller's has definitely set the standard for other locations as far as I'm concerned. I actually kind ofavoided the chain for a while due to bad experiences at other locations not in this area. If you go to Tallahassee and not visit the Zinger headquarters you are missing out,now 1st I was a lil hesitant because I'm... thinking ahhhh it's just another Applebee's,but ohhhhh boy was not even close,bcse just the waiter himself was 5 star Jack!! Ordered the English fish and chips, and it was delicious. The fish tacos were dry and was not able to be eaten. The appetizer... was sw egg roll; we fed them to our ducks, they were not good! Read more
This place is absolutely the place. My family and I have made this our new ?Texas roadhouse? but a little less expensive. Great... staff, everything was awesome.. the food, the atmosphere, the staff, and the prices. Devin was our server and we were a party of 16, he was definitely on top of everything and made sure everything was 100% satisfactory. We will definitely be makingmultiple trips back to Millers! ??
