Here in Tally running away from Hurricane Ian and decided to grab a bite to go and head back to the room. The customer service... was excellent with expedited on time drive thru delivery. The chicken was somewhat dry and tough to pull off of the bone. Themac good but cold. The Baked Beans are good but were cold as well. Tried to give this place some business and ordered to-go. They forgot almost all my sides (some were upcharged) but one and... garlic bread. Ordered double pulled pork but received sliced and pulled. They were slow so I didn't understand the 1. Crowd waiting 2. ABSENT hostess 3. Need for anyone's name to be on a list. However... a group was sat before us. Then we waited AGAIN!???? So I eased on up to MAKE SURE a bus load hadn't crept in or something. Thenthe hostess made eye contact with me and asked how many ???? in the party and got us seated; (just 2????) I noticed that newgrilled cheese pork sandwich that I wanted to try. HOWEVER...???????????????? the meat was RAW and they gave me sliced cheese!!Yet the photo had an image of a melted "cheese sauce"; I clarified about ingredients before ordering ????. So the manager cameout and explained that the meat is prepared like that but he'd gladly replace it for something else (that was commendable) butsaid that the sandwich came with sliced cheese????. He gave me a different meat with some of the other cheese sauce (queso)included and it was cool..I didn't stick around and eat there though. My kid loved their food!! Read more
Waited at the takeout counter in front of the register. Waitress came to the register with no acknowledgement and full on... ignored me for seven minutes then walked away even though I was right in front of her the whole time. I have worked these jobsbefore so I know that at least if she was busy, she could have said someone else would take my order or told me someone elsewould take me at a different register. Otherwise, I generally enjoy this Sonny's and usually get pretty good service. I reallyappreciate the veterans day specials. Also, the other waitress was really nice about helping. Read more
