I was recommended this place by someone else. However, they are limited with soy free options. Danielle seemed upset if I ask... questions about what specific items had soy. She says ?I think? everything has soy. I responded by asking if she could ask thechef. The chef thankfully let me know what I could order. It was as if I am bothering her. No eye contact, rushed, andunprofessional. Also, no forks for my salad so I will eat my meal with my hands. Update 8/9/22 The racism is so bad in thisplace. I saw a black male wait at the counter and be completely ignored. He ended up leaving as they looked at him and continuedcooking. They obviously don?t like colored people here. I don?t care if your food is vegan. If you discriminate and change yourbehavior because of a persons skin color, I will never come back. I am making sure this is known on happy cow. Read more
So yesterday after working decided to stop by the first time ever so many options but I decided on the falawesome which as you... can see is packed to the brim with veggie goodies and packing packing. I didn't include the fries cause I was just that hungryand to finish it off had to get the Blondie chocolate chip bar everything was much needed and very filling. Wonderful little place! Everything is Vegan and fantastic that in addition to their main menu has a small selection of bakery... items like cakes and pastries that appear to change daily. I took some tasty handpies and a cheesecake for later. From theirmain menu, I had the Falawesome wrap which as the name suggestions was awesome. I chose the poutine as my side and it was reallygood, especially the gravy, want that gravy on most everything now lol. My husband, who is vegetarian but not vegan, had thespicy tofu BLT and really enjoyed it. I highly recommend this place and wished I lived closer so I could visit more often. Read more
Really pleasant experience. I got some sort of greek tofu salad wrap that was amazing! I also had red cabbage slaw that was... wonderful as well. Finished it off with a Fat Tire beer. Ample outdoor dining area and a variety of seating options. Giantshaded awning. Bring your dog or even your kids. Friendly access to their WIFI. Ill be back next time i come to Tallahassee. Read more
I ordered my husband?s birthday cake from Sweet Pea Cafe. I was worried about him liking it. So, just to be safe, I ordered... another classic Hummingbird cake from another awesome pastry chef. This place is amazing. I was in town for the week for work and got dinner here every night. Really nice vegan take out... restaurant. The rueben on a gluten free tortilla was out of this world. Best vegan rueben I?ve ever had. Thank you for the greatfood all week and thank you for your attention to health and community during these challenging times. Ordered the falawesome and ginger cookie. Regret not getting a different side as rice and beans are pretty lame haha. Rice was... bland and a bit clumpy but the beans were ok. The falafel was nice but pretty ordinary. I really liked the ginger flavor of thecookie it wasnt overpowering or too muted but it was just wayyy to sweet for me. Also I think it was quite expensive too. Theplace is tucked in off the road and I actually missed the small entrance while getting there (oops). Theres a few indoor seatsbut its quite cramped but the outdoor area is shaded and has fans. There were some bugs and flies though. Read more
