Had lunch there today and it was one of the most authentic Italian meals I have ever had. The eggplant lasagna was served... piping hot in the most succulent marinara sauce. Would have been five stars because the food quality and flavor was definitely five stars, but service was not. We could see... staff chatting and joking while our order still hadn't been put in. Had to wait far too long for drinks, and not even offeredwater while we wait. Dish washer must have been having a rough day. Glasses had food stuck to inside of glass and multiplepieces of the flatware were not clean. Waited a long time and finally had to flag down another server to ask for to-go boxes andcheck. We will try again, of course. Food quality makes up for a lot, and if they can fix these issues this will be aspectacular option. Pizza was phenomenal, if not best in town. 1st off food was amazing. Service was not great. Our server was just taking her time. 2 other servers where great. I got a glass... that had cheese in it with my sweet tea. Gross. Then got a dirty knife. Gross.The people need to pay more attention to thesethings. I just had to tell myself there wasn't anybody else's food left over in my food so I could eat it. Also had to wait forsweet tea to be made. Was not offered water or anything else while we waited even though it was hot outside and we had justwalked in. My daughter and I had to drink from my husbands drink while we waited. Refills took forever to get. If the tea wassweet i diddnt taste any sugar. It tasted like unsweet.Then the lemon on our plate that had been cut had left over what lookedlike herbs on it. Made me assume they don't use clean anything. I hope the owner takes this all unto consideration and trainstheir staff better. If food wasn't as good as it was I would have gave 1 star. Second time dining here and again, I was not disappointed! We were a few minutes earlier than our reservation time but our... table was ready and we were seated immediately. Stephen our friendly waiter, was wonderful! He answered our questions aboutwine, offered samples of the two white wines I had previously but could not remember my favorite- Chardonnay! He also wasknowledgeable about the menu items we were interested in and clearly and kindly gave us details about them. The food wasdelicious and plentiful, beginning with garlic rolls fresh from the oven. I ordered a glass of wine, appetizer, lasagna,tiramisu (to go!) and it was around $37 before the tip. I had so much leftover food that was still delicious the next day.It’s such a gem tucked at the end of a basic strip mall. I understand why they take reservations! My fiance spotted this little jewel for our valentines day dinner and I have to say this was heaven! Food was wonderful, service... was a ten! We had a beautiful evening. Prices were great too. Not a huge space but it was exactly our vibe. Definitelyrecommend!! Read more

Pretty typical Italian ambience but I have to tell you after moving to Tallahassee we believe this restaurant has fair prices... and very generous portions and the food was very good. This is definitely a place worth trying! The only thing I did not likewas the fact that they do not have an espresso machine, and in my opinion espresso goes with Italian as much if not more thanpizza! Read more
