Good but not great. Got strawberry napoleons for my husband?s birthday and we were a little disappointed because the cheese... filling has zero sweetness (and I?m not one who likes things super sweet). Seems like they may have forgotten to put any sugarat all, but after reading constructive reviews on the bakery?s cannolis and cheesecakes, I?m not so sure. (Those reviews saythat their items were bland.) My intention w this feedback is to be helpful and not critical. If the cheese filling would?vebeen even SLIGHTLY sweet, the pastry would?ve been yummy!! On a positive note, I had a croissant sandwich for lunch and sampledthe cheesy ale soup - both were tasty! The service was also great. Will give this place another chance for dessert and willhopefully have a better experience. Read more
Treva?s is amazing. Although they do not make ?wedding cakes? we made an order of 5 Italian Cream Cakes a week in advance and... stacked one ourselves. We really enjoyed them and people still bring up how good the cake was. It was made just like the pictureon the website and we can?t wait to order one again for our anniversary next year 10/10. I?ve been drooling over Trevas Bakery Instagram posts. I finally made it there yesterday. This absolutely wonderful place. I... tried the fresh out of oven bake Stromboli, and ham and cheese croissant. Super yummy just melt in your mouth. Super nicestaff, package beautifully. They have a great selection of premade take home a eat food, Curry Chicken, Macaroni and cheese,yummy sounding soups and much much more. I?m looking forward to trying some in the near future. No mask required on the staff, which is a bit disturbing in these times. Regardless, the pastry was dry, over-buttered and... surprisingly mundane after what I have read for reviews. The guava and cheese pastry had a slice of guava paste (such asConchita) and not fruit, nor even reworked, just a slice off the block on top of some cubes of cheese. Neither of these hadlost their shape in baking and were easily visible intact after removal of the dry and crumbly pastry. We tried a simple cookieand found it much the same and again dry and over buttered. We will probably try again as it might just be a bad day, butconsidering the price and less than warm owner I am not so sure. Beware, if you actually have some experience with qualitybakeries, and not just looking for the ?best? in Tallahassee. Read more

Just became neighbors with this quaint little pastry shop and finding that it?s fast becoming a favorite spot for a tasty bite.... From buttery croissants topped with tarragon chicken salad to warm delectable ?daily special? sandwiches filled with flavorfulmeats and melted cheeses, there is truly something for every palate. Oh and the desserts, well let?s just say they?re not onlypretty to look at displayed proudly in a tidy white pastry case, they taste quite lovely too!! Read more
Let me start off by saying, we really wanted this place to work out. Since my coworkers and I are from out of state, we?ll... decided to celebrate monthly birthdays with cakes. We found a list with ?top bakeries in Tallahassee ? and this month decided totry Trevas ( last month it was SoDough). Anyway Called to order a cake for an office party on Tuesday 4/9 to be picked up fornext day. Have specific instructions NOT to include chocolate because someone was allergic, go to pick up the cake and the?Happy Birthday ?was chocolate lettering on a piece of ribbon. I asked the assistant/cash girl if the lettering could be redo toreflect the request, she left to get the manager/owner(not sure who the irate woman was). She returned as I was filling out a?service review form?, and he?ll broke loose. All I was asking for was for the ribbon to be removed and the Birthday writing bewritten in anything accept chocolate....she threatened to take the cake back, giving me TWO options: take the entire cake backOR take it plain without writing (she yanked the ribbon off). She takes the box from me and open the register to refund me(which I didn?t ask for, I needed the cake same day). I grabbed the cake and darted to the door, went to the nearest Walmart andgrabbed some icing to decorate it myself. I will say that of all the local bakeries I?ve ordered from in the past few months,this was by far the WORST experience, I was shaken up the rest of the day by her behavior and audacity to not even try to justchange something as simple as the writing. I love this place. The Tarragon Chicken Salad is the perfect, nutritious lunch paired with spring mix and succulent grapes.
