I promise you I had never heard of this place before I visited my friends in Albany Georgia. We had a couple of birthdays to... celebrate so they decided to drive down to Tallahassee to visit this restaurant. Yes I said drive from Albany to Tallahassee. Itdid not disappoint. We had a party at 12 and we had called and made reservations. We were a bit late but we called them andthey were kind enough to hold our tables. We had a wonderful server unfortunately I do not remember her name. She was verypatient and knowledgeable with us because we had never had Hot pot before. She explained how it works and what we were supposedto do. The soup you choose a base I chose tomato and lime. You then go to the buffet if you will of raw foods and pick what youwant to put in your soup and also what you want to cook on the grill. Now I'm not really familiar with most of the raw food thatKoreans put into their hot pot so I kind of did not try that. However I did go for the brisket, bok choy, onions, garlic, cilantro, garlic oil and such. After I had my experience with the soup, I then focused on the Korean barbecue. Oh my God! Thebeef short ribs, the steak, the shrimp, garlic, onions and cilantro had a choke hold on me for the rest of the night. I reallydo believe we tried to eat all the beef short ribs that we could. The seasonings you will not forget, everything just blooms inyour mouth. I didn't eat anything that was bad whatsoever. And the joy was just trying things that you might never try in yourlife. It was very delicious. I recommend doing reservations instead of just dropping in because it does get crowded prettyquickly after 4:00 p.m. we got there at a good time frame otherwise we would have been waiting and it's not the type of placewhere you just hurry up and eat and go. You can be sitting there for hours eating. The hot pot and the bark Korean BBQ togetherwas about $32 a person which is a good price excellent price you can't beat it. Read more

Good experience with one of the better selections of food that I have seen at a hot pot place. They even had woodear mushrooms... and quail eggs! Our waitress was newer and did not explain cooking times as I have experienced in the past, even saying that shehad not done it herself??? I had to ask about the sesame oil as it barely had any flavor and was shown a jug that it comes in.Honestly, it was probably just poorer bulk quality. The manager was friendly though and suggested I use the sesame paste. Iwould probably return and overall had a good experience. Read more

VOLCANO HOT POT Oh my GOURD, it's so freaking good! ???? If you haven't gotten the chance or been too intimidated (like me) to... try Volcano Hot Pot & BBQ stop what you're doing and go! My husband and I had so much fun and really enjoyed all the optionsand flavors. We kept saying "wow, wow!" ???? It's absolutely worth the money since it's all you can eat. And nothing to beintimidated by. I got the Tom Yum soup base and I don't even really like Tom Yum but I do now! It's got just the right amountof spice. My husband got the herbal soup base and that was very good as well. We will definitely be back and really hope thisgem last here in town for years and years to come. Read more

If you?re new, this is basically a buffet style place where you cook your own food at the table. It?s all you can eat! I went... during the Omicron breakout, so there was not a conveyer but it was buffet style. It was really delicious. Our server explainedeverything really well and made sure we were taken care of. Their desserts were unique and delicious. I absolutely loved thisplace and will revisit in the future! Read more

Our first visit tonight, but definitely not our last!!! What a wonderful experience!! We are hot pot rookies, but our server and... the manager made our meal a smashing success! The interior is fresh, modern and Asian Industrial feeling because of the exhaustfans that hang above the in table grills. Not knowing what to expect, I requested samples of three of the six or seven brothbases and they kindly brought piping hot sample cups from the kitchen for us to try. Husband chose the ?Original? and I chosethe citrus based Tom Yum. Hubby also went with the Hot Pot plus BBQ option, while I chose Hot Pot only. The raw ingredientswere fresh and attractively presented in serve yourself food bar style . Clean plates were stacked below each bar, with mask andgloves required while making up your selections. All food and sauce selections were well labeled with sauce ingredientcombinations suggested for mild or hot palates. An abundance of broth was provided in both flavors and all of the tableequipment boilerplates and Grill functioned well and were easy to adjust and control temperatures . Thank you Mike! We will beback! Read more
