This place has continued to go down hill since it opned. It use to be that only their brisket was very dry. You could also never... go after 3 because everything was dried out and nothing fresh. Now even when I go at peak lunch time the chicken, brisket andribs are so dry and hard you can barely eat it. A true test of any resteraunt is that fact that it is never full even duringpeak hours. This was my first time here and even though it's out on Thomasville road it was definitely worth the drive! Today is Memorial... day and i was expecting the place to be full. Surprisingly it was not.. I noticed a lot of people were calling in theirorders. The man behind the register was very polite and informative. Me and my friend decided to get to the pulled porksandwich piled high with Cole slaw???? and fried corn on the cob. They had a large menu in the front for you to orderfrom. The food came out hot and fresh! Afterwards all I could think about what I was gonna order next time ?? I can stillsmell that Bbq in the air...wow This place is very handicapped ? accessible...I noticed it didn't have a ramp but it had asmooth easement for wheelchairs. 1st time visiting this restaurant. Wife and I got two 3 meat plates and because of a Facebook deal got 6 free wings. We got mild... wings with blue cheese. Wife got brisket, pulled pork, and smoked sausage. I got brisket, chicken, and smoked sausage. The foodwas pretty tasty. Brisket is a tad dry but flavorful, and you get plenty of it. Chicken was moist and well seasoned. The sausagewas very good and had a mild spice to it. The wings were delicious and the sauce was good. Sides were well made and the collardgreens were probably the best item we had. Would definitely try this place if you could. Docked one star as the food came out atad cool but not cold enough to complain at the time, and to be fair this was the only thing we could even complain about atall. Read more
