We started out on a Sunday looking for a place to eat lunch. Our target restaurant was closed so we had to find something else.... Honestly, we weren't sure what to expect going into this place. Once we got there, that all changed. The atmosphere was nice(praise music may have been a little loud, but not extreme). The staff was nice and our server continually engaged our daughterabout suggestions for series books to read in between checking her tables. I wasn't sure about my order but I figured I'd giveit a shot. I will say, the swamp bird (I believe was the name) was absolutely excellent. The okra side was excellent as well. Mywife had the shepherds pie and while I'm not a fan of it, it was very good. The kids split french toast and loved it. Overall,this place was great and we look forward to our next visit! Read more

Nice little restaurant. Friendly service food wasn't bad, large portions, my only complaint is that the fried appetizers or... fries were overcooked and tasted funny, you could clearly tell they were reusing the oil several times,they just need to usefresh oil. Other than that it was good. Read more
The food was great as the last we went. Portions are good size. I have had leftovers for the next day both times we have gone.... If you haven't been you should definitely try it. Read more
My husband and I ate there for the first time, 11/11/22. The service was friendly. That said, it took over 30 minutes for us... to get our food after we ordered. The vegetables were good, except, the cole slaw was very heavy with mayonnaise. My husbandordered fried catfish and they were not near as good as those served at the Piggly Wiggly deli, in Bowdon, on Fridays. We donot plan to eat there, again. Read more
