I was shorted a side on the hamburger steak plus I ordered a biscuit and got Texas toast. I wanted a biscuit and Mac n cheese... didn't get either one! they also put wrong bread on my husband's plate. POOR service from ordering online.... won't do thatagain... probably won't go back! Read more

Mr Bush a school teacher use to own this Huddle House in Tallassee, Alabama but he sold it to Corporate. I ordered the grilled... chicken salad and was informed by our waitress that Corporate just 2 weeks ago removed 7 items from the menu and all the saladswere one of the items removed. We almost got up and left because this was very heartbreaking. Our waitress didn't know thereason why Corporate deleted those items. So we decided to stay and eat anyway. I ordered buttered grits, fried eggs, butteredtoast and sausage patties. My food tasted very good! Bob ordered eggs benedict and he said it tasted awful. The sauce they puton it didn't taste like it's supposed to be made, so he only ate a few bites. This Huddle House was almost empty. Us andanother couple were the only customers this afternoon. Eaten there three times, always excellent. I've had the strawberry pancakes, plenty for a second meal. The eggs, grits bacon... and toast. Just like I ordered the bacon was well done but not burnt! The country fried steak with gravy, real mashed potatoesand freshly fried okra. I think that was the best fried okra I have ever had! Prices are good and staff is friendly andattentive. We... came in for breakfast as a last resort months ago, now it?s one of our first choice. The food is always delicious and cookedperfectly and we ask for Jernye as our server.
