A couple of years ago this Applebee's used to be good. They had the 2 for $20 deal, the food was of good quality, and you left... satisfied. However, that is not the case anymore. Last night we ordered the Endless Boneless Chicken Wings which started out as10 wings, but then were offered in 5 wing increments. This isn't a deal breaker, but the problem is the quality of the food. Itis abysmal. The Sweet Asian sauce tasted like maple syrup. And the determining factor between regular buffalo sauce and "hot"buffalo sauce ,is a sprinkling, of Italian seasoning. The wings were very soaked in thick oil which made them beyond greasy andgag-inducing. To make matters worse, they no longer have Thursday night football - a solid siren for an evening out. Man oh man? first of all, there were hardly any customers in the restaurant but yet we had to wait 30 minutes to be seated due... to the kitchen being backed up, they said. We finally got seated, waited 10 minutes for anything and then finally ordered andwaited another 20 minutes for a salad and the wrong meal for my daughter. We then continued to wait another 10 minutes for ourendless boneless wings after that. We finished those wings and we had to wait another 15 minutes for the next ones to come out.We were so fed up with the wait time on a school night and just left. There was no sorry and no compensation. I see why theyhave endless wings, no one will be willing to wait long enough to actually get full off of them. Smh, gotta do better, justbecause you supposedly have Togo orders does not mean treat those that come in poorly. Read more
Hubby wanted to go for an early dinner. This is what we had I'm not so sure why they are so stingy with the beef... if you're... going to pay $13 or $14 you want a lease a scoop of meat on it ...like they do at Chipotle's LOL not like 2 tablespoons. Read more
I haven't been to Applebee's in so along! I decided to give them a try after hearing that they now have an impossible... cheeseburger! It was really good! And the $5 drink was great! Service at the bar was great! I enjoyed my visit! Read more
I?m am not sure what happen to this place but it?s has become run down beyond repair. I have been going here for years and now I... wouldn?t let them cook for a stray dog. Tonight was my last straw. The chicken spinach Alfredo bowl is back on the menu and Icouldn?t wait to get off from work to have dinner. The last time I went inside I had a terrible time. The waitress was very rudewhen I did not like the drink and asked for something else. She went on to tell me that the manager doesn?t like when thecustomers ask for a replacement and they tried to charge me for the item I did not drink because it was disgusting. This is notthe first time I have had a horrible experience inside so I decided to do curbside pick up. The food is usually ok as long asyou don?t get the Watery Broccoli Alfredo.The last time they had the irresist a bowls they were superb. I ate there almost everyday for lunch but tonight, I couldn?t be more disappointed. I?m not sure why a chicken alfredo meal would taste like pickles butthat is exactly what I bit into. Chicken, pasta and a white pickle sauce. I don?t know if they are now under new management orthey are just cutting corners to use cheap ingredients and charging more but since the beginning of this year this place justkeeps going down hill. With a heavy heart I have to tell you to save your money. I kept going back because this use to be oneof my favorite restaurants and I hoped it would get back on track but I will never recommend this place again. SMH it evensmells like pickles. Read more
What a horrible experience! I don't expect much from Applebee's so the bar was set low. I got the easiest thing to make on the... menu (fried shrimp and fries) and my daughter had a pizza off the kids menu. They didn't even try! Food was BLAND!! Took almost30 minutes to get 1 drink. Listen I know everyone is short staffed so I expect to wait a bit but almost 30 minutes for a drink?On a Saturday afternoon 12ish? This has to be a franchise store this can not be a corporate store if so this store needs help,New management or something. I will never return and caution those who are reading this review to this twice maybe even 3 timesbefore dinning here. Read more
