I was visiting St Pete with a couple friends. We decided to go to Applebees for dinner. As usual the food was good and service... was great but what set this experience apart was the bartender. His name is Jeff. What a big personality! He was so much fun andhad me laughing so hard. He also had some great recommendations for some amazing drinks. I really needed this after having avery rough couple weeks. I highly recommend to anyone to go here. Read more
Love to come have some happy hour drinks from time to time. I like the sampler platter/combo app just to nibble on and great to... share. Jeffrey is an amazing and fun bartender. Haven?t big fan of Applebees for awhile but decided to pop in my server was amazing she wasn?t overly annoying by checking in... on us to many times. I didn?t even get to finish my soda and she had a replacement for me ready I loved that, I think her namewas destiny A. Is what she told me she even was so attentive to reassure me that I wouldn?t die from cross contamination fromthe kitchen because I?m allergic to shellfish which calmed down my anxiety greatly all around service was wonderful but thesever was above and beyond Read more
Had a really nice experience at this restaurant. Service was pleasant, not rushed. Food was fantastic, actually I was surprised... how good it was, but no room in my tummy for dessert. Excellent. Read more
The only good thing about this visit is the server Brittany H. There was a hair in the burger. My rice was hard and chicken... burnt. The bartender didn?t know have to make a martini so I ordered a margarita which was not correct neither. We told theserver about the burger and she let the manager know so it was taken off the check. The manager never stopped by the table tospeak with us. I have worked I. The service industry for 15 years as a general manager and this is not professional. I arrived at 3:50 on a weekday. Only 2 tables were sat. Two servers, a hostess and a manager on duty. I got offered water right... away and was served it promptly. There are several TV's playing. One by the kitchen door is playing Revenge of the Nerds. Myserver was enjoying it. I waited for a bit thinking she would come back to take my order but had to tap my glass on the table acouple of times for her to remember. I ordered and she had to return right away to tell me she forgot they were out. I ordered aCesar salad. When it arrived it had no dressing. I waved my arm to no avail. I was seated all the way up front. I had to go towhere she was enjoying the movie to say there was no dressing. She brought some and said, "Sorry, I just don't usually payattention to that I guess" . She was nice and polite and always asked if I needed anything when she was at the table but shereally seemed to be enjoying the movie too. I have not been to Applebee's in years. I probably won't bother going to any in thefuture. It doesn't seem to matter which one I go to, Applebee's never fails to disappoint in some way. Read more
It had been a really long time since I've been to Applebee's. Not any particular reason but today we stopped and had a great... lunch. The Quesadilla Hamburger is really really good just as I remembered it. My friend had a shrimp dish and absolutely lovedit. Good eating for both of us. Read more
