The restaurant is clean. Unfortunately, the food was disappointing. I ordered a poke bowl, and the deep fried green beans... appetizer, along with a bo-bo green tea, all to-go. First, it is a terrible idea to put hot food (ordered as a separate dish)on top of a cold sushi bowl. When I arrived at my destination and removed the sealed lid, I found my top layer of sushi warmfrom the green beans. In addition, much of the tuna was not chewable with a tough string of fat throughout it. I ate the salmonand the cukes. The pineapple looked and tasted like canned. I threw away half the bowl. The green beans actually tasted good. And the tea was very good. Not a sushi place. Read more

BENTO is an East Asian restaurant on Fowler Avenue. The decor of the restaurant was excellent, and had some nice contemporary... touches to it. The employees were nice, but took a long time to prepare our food. We have ordered General Tso?s Lo Mein, aTeriyaki Rice Bowl, Miami Sushi, and Crab Rangoon. The menu did not feel like it was centered around one cuisine, but rathercombines cuisines together. Felt like a mix of Chinese, Japanese, and Korean BBQ. Otherwise, the food was very good and wasserved in large portions. Liked that we got to eat out of chopsticks. In our area, I believe that there are lots of good Asianrestaurants in our area. Unfortunately, BENTO does not stand out from other Asian restaurants, but was still decent. Would notresist coming back here. Read more

Super worth meal with big portions, and I even had leftovers. I had the LoMein Bowl with Shrimp. It has red bell peppers,... onion, bean sprouts, carrots and scallions. Natalie at the cash register was super sweet and was very knowledgeable about themenu. Pro Tip: ask the cashier their opinion or even for fan faves. Next time, I?ll have to come by and try the LoMein withtheir fan favorite Pao Pao Chicken. Read more

My go to is always a Build-A-Poke with salmon and tuna. Love how many different topping options there are! The fish was fresh... and the rice was cooked just right. I always get the dressing on the side, that way the rice doesn't get soggy from it. Wouldrecommend, 10/10! Read more

I make it a priority to come here at least once or twice a month. I am so in love with this place. The portions are so... fulfilling and the flavors with everything are (Chefs Kiss) When I first started going I ordered the Bento box with OrangeChicken but ever since they changed the menu and added one of my absolute favorite Asian Dishes ( chicken Katsu) with theJapanese Curry of course :) it's been my go-to ever since. If you haven't already tried this place I would highly recommend.Forget all the negative comments . Service is quick and efficient, I've been here plenty of times by myself and with my motherand we've never encountered bad service or a bad food experience. Every time I come, I get reminded on why I love this place somuch. Bento definitely has my heart for sure?. Read more

This place was great and a must try. Food was very fresh and true to its Asian cuisine. The fried rice was an upgrade but... totally worth the price. And the bento box was delicious. So much food for the price so prepare for a to go box. If you?re inthe area stop by it?s worth it. Read more

This has to be the most delicious sushi roll I?ve had in a very very long time! Bento was recommended and said to have some of... the best sushi rolls in Tampa so I decided to try the Hot Lava Roll and was pleasantly surprised that it was as good as theysaid it would be. I don?t normally try sushi from everywhere but this was well worth the money and I can?t wait to try more oftheir rolls! Read more
