This location felt unwelcoming. I'm a very cheerful person, so seeing the staff look as though they are done with their day at... 2pm was a bit unnerving. I ordered a steak burrito. The pico de Gallo was watery and didn't taste good, but the steak was thereal problem. I am truly shocked that this Chipotle is still open for business. I would bet money that one of their interview questions is... ?are you the rudest person in Tampa?? and if they answer yes, they?re immediately hired. The employees at this location arealways angry, combative, and unhelpful to say the least. One of their managers, who I call ?the cheese police?, once charged meextra for a side of cheese and almost had a meltdown when I asked for the side. He also made a big deal about asking how apromotion worked and insinuated that I should be aware of Chipotle?s policies as if I?m the one that?s employed there. Not tomention how unsanitary this location is. I guarantee that if you?ve eaten here you?ve eaten at least half a rat and 3 roaches.It?s almost like they want their customers to have the worst experience possible so that they can leave the jobs they so clearlydespise. I have reached out to Chipotle Support about my plethora of issues with this location, but all they told me was thatthey would talk to the employees, which they clearly have not done, so I will not be returning to this location (not that anyoneat this Chipotle would care because, judging from their attitudes, they wish the worst upon their customers). Only visit thislocation if you want to get a half portion of food, enjoy eating bacteria/rats, and want to receive the worst customer serviceimaginable. Read more
Awful, awful, awful. Oh! did I say awful. Service, mediocre. Staff, lazy. Food, slightly below room temperature. $40 down the... drain! EVERY table was dirty. I asked the cashier to wipe down the tables (or have someone do it) bc there weren't any cleanones to eat at. He acknowledged my request but never followed through. I sat there watching a few staff members laughing andmaking cookie runs, to the Insomnia next door. One of the workers (the girl with the braids) reminded the cashier (pictured)that he was supposed to wipe down the tables and they shared a laugh about. She actually fell down onto the floor, laughinghysterically. Can one be more unprofessional?! Looks like the proprietor of this establishment is paying staff to "ride theclock" and horseplay. Whoever the manager was at 7:14 (the time I'm sitting in this place, writing this review) needs trainingor a different job. Same goes for those two workers.
