I?ve been looking for a great dessert place for a hot minute and this definitely makes the list. They had a huge assortment or... tarts, cakes, pies, macarons AND coffee creations! We tried their namesake ?chocolate pi? and a slice of their apple pie alongwith an iced latte and it was the perfect end to our date night. We chose to take our desserts to go but we will be back toenjoy the unique atmosphere created. Read more

A friend of mine bought me delicious dessert of Blue Lady cake and brown sugar chocolate pie. Today he surprised me for dessert... again, but brought me to it. This small treasure has a lot of character. The antique furniture and tea cup collection in thedecor grabbed my eye as I walked in. The macarons were a close second. Then the cutest cake decorations delivered the finalblow. The owner was showing her awesome customer care to her current customer while she kept acknowledging us with eye contactand body language. I had time to see that cake and pie, while her big sellers were not the only thing. There is homemade icecream and then espresso drinks if you are looking to have a dessert date with someone special, or friends. Tonight I chose thehomemade pistachio ice cream. There are layers of flavor that I cannot express for you to fully understand. Go here and supportthis local small business. The reward will truly be yours. This is hands down one of the best bakeries in Tampa. I ordered a cake four days before my event and Kim was so gracious and... kindly accepted my order. And boy did she deliver, the cake was delicious and a work of art. This place is the definition of quaint. Small yet friendly staff. Very quiet atmosphere. Perhaps a bit too quiet for some... people. The music was hardly noticeable. That being said the atmosphere feels like your great grandmothers kitchen. Welcomingand soft. The desserts were great. A bit on the over indulgent side but everyone?s tolerance for sweets is different Isuppose. It?s not somewhere I would go out of my way for but if you are in the neighborhood I would definitely give this quickdessert shop a try. Read more
Our favorite local bakery/confectionary shop for all things decadently good. We drop in for late-night sugar fixes often, but... our latest experience resulted in the most delicious German Chocolate cake special order. I?m normally not a fan of thisparticular cake, but it was my dad?s birthday and this was his request. Needless to say, Kim and her Chocolate Pi shop has mademe a believer.
