Amazing authentic cuban food. Bread for the Cubano was crisp and toasty as it should be. Rice had just the right amount of... flavor and not too salty. Sweet plantains were a nice dark color, soft, tasty. Will definitely be back again when I visit theTampa Bay area. Read more

I wish I had Cuban Foodies by my house! I got to go with my aunt and uncle for breakfast when we went to visit family in Tampa.... My thing every morning is cafecito con leche and here I had to order two with my Cuban sandwich. Will never forget about thisplace and definitely will come back to eat again. Read more

Food was tasty but charging extra for bread when I ordered an entree seems ridiculous. Also.. the bag the fries are served in... (Ubereats) was less than appealing. Read more

So, it is in a strip center next to a big dojo. Is not big but has plenty of tables. So we had the chicken and beef empanadas.... The Beef were most definitely the best.Try the red sauce that comes with them. Is not salsa, is cooked and delicious. I wantedto drink it and added to my rice. The Chicken empanadas were somewhat bland compared to the perfectly seasoned beef ones . Theirblack bean soup is delicious. We all had the Cuban sandwich. They had a Tampa style and 3rd kind. We stayed with thetraditional. The bread was truly great Cuban bread. The sandwich was very good. Prices are a little more than you would expectfor a place in a strip mall, but it is genuine Cuban food, and it was fresh and delicious. You get what you pay for. They havea pretty good Cuban menu. Is an oasis amongst all things "strip mall" around them. It looks unassuming but is worth to try. Read more

What a great experience. First of all, I am Cuban and my mom cooks amazingly. So my standards are high. The plantain Mariquitas... are well done and traditional. They came accompanied with a tomato based dipping sauce, however I prefer the traditionallime/garlic sauce. The Yuca Fries are perfect, crispy and light with a great dipping sauce. I had the Fricase de Pollo (chickenfricasee very similar to an Italian Cacciatore) and it could be no better. The sauce is the traditional Cuban base and tasty. For dessert I had the Flan and was pleasantly surprised to see that they drip a little guava marmalade in the plate. The kitchennot only cooks traditionally but also plates very nicely. The ambiance feels classy and very Cuban...they even have an elegantCuban Domino table set and ready to be used. Service was friendly and efficient. A great experience and much more authentic thanthe other Cuban restaurant located across the street, which left me unimpressed a few weeks back. Read more

I'm new to Cuban food, bit I've been trying it everywhere I go all over Florida. This is the best rice and beans and tostones... I've had. I'm Not new to seafood, especially fried whole snapper. I've ordered this from every place that has had it on themenu. Sometimes good, sometimes over cooked, sometimes not so fresh. This places whole snapper was THE BEST I've ever had, evenamongst higher end restaurants. Simply salted and cooked to perfection and perfectly fresh. Yum. The best in Florida Latincuisines. This place is very unassuming in a plaza shopping mall, but the food is top notch. Read more
