I really loved this place. My teenager is a picky eater and got ribs and barely spoke a word as he was too busy eating. My dad... used to grill this steak and it was so good. I couldn?t replicate it or find it anywhere. The ribeye was just like his recipe!It took me back. Our server was so genuinely sweet and super-attentive. The owner came by each table to ask how the meal was andseemed really happy we had a good experience. It reminds you the difference between an independent business caring about theirproduct vs a chain going through the scripted motions. I've lived in the Bay area for over 30 years and for the money ($45 for a 2lb) and the taste, this is the best steak house in... the Bay area. Explains why that despite being in a horrible location they have survived for as long as they have. Highlyrecommend. Came with a fully loaded bake potato and a salad for that $45 price. Read more
All those who gave this restaurant a negative review, I have to say this... You all LIED! I just ate here and I have to say... Actually this food was great! This is some of the BEST food I've ever eaten! The Porterhouse Steak melted in my mouth likebutter, so tender, flavorful and huge! The salmon was seasoned to perfection, the lobster tail was like I was dining in a fivestar gourmet restaurant. Even the side salad was out of this world fantastic and the dinner roll was crispy on the outside andso fluffy and delicious on the inside and let's not leave out the perfectly made Arnold Palmer drink, yummy. If you have nottried this restaurant, you're missing out. Go there on your next visit to Tampa, FL is worth the visit. And kudos to the supernice and extremely polite staff. We arrived before the crowd. The staff was very pleasant and attentive. The Calamari was very good, crispy with good flavor. ... Normally I would NOT suggest getting Seafood at a Steakhouse but my wife wanted the Lobster Tail and WOW, it was Really Good. Not disappointing at all but then again neither was the Boneless Ribeye nor the Buckskins. The meal was not cheap but thenagain we didn't have Steakbugers either. We will surely return. Loved the Classic Country Music and the atmosphere. This isNO chain restaurant, and to us, far better than many of those. Read more
Had an amazing experience. Actually arrived when they opened at 1600 hrs and were the only 2 in the restaurant at the time which... made it an even better experience. The service was awesome. Then came the food and omgosh incredible Mom and I both ordered Filet Mingon with shrimp Scampi. The filet was cooked to order and was amazing. Highly recommend going. Read more
