Called in a lunch order for pick-up, was told it would be ready in 10 to 15 minutes. just spent my entire lunch break in line... waiting to pick up my order because the cashier did not know how to count change. The Owner or Manager or who ever she wasliterally had to show her the difference between a dime and a nickel and had to count the change for her. Why would they hiresomeone to run the register who clearly only knows how to count Peso's? The line was backed up to the door almost it wasinsane. Other than that the food was amazing as always, if you're not in a hurry it's worth the wait but I won't be backanytime soon. Read more

Meh. Big guy at counter was staring at me like a weirdo the entire time I was there. They gave me the wrong bread, which ended... up soggy from being drenched in 1000 island dressing .Ham, while plentiful, tasted a bit off. Overpriced. I had to stop eatingit, it wasn't that good. Read more

Wow. This place rules. I've been living right around the corner from here for three years and I always thought it was abandoned... since it never was open when I drove by. However I had a chance to try it out recently and I was blown away. The Sangwich Blockdoesn't seem like much from the outside, especially since it is only open around lunch time so the parking lot is usually empty.Apparently, though, this is a VERY popular lunch spot for the offices nearby and I can see why. When I went there the line forthe counter was almost out the door. The fact that the line wasn't already out the door and around the block is only because thepeople working there are so good at what they do. The interior was well done and you can tell they have their very own little"Sangwich" culture in the place, with the theme being the local sports teams and some funny jokes in the menu and signs. I hadthe gyro, which was second only to Mr Submarine in Clearwater in my opinion, which means it was top notch. As I was standing inline I saw the most beautiful food coming out of the kitchen. Behind the counter were several very busy, but friendly peoplepreparing some really cool looking sandwiches (Sangwiches), burgers, and salads (they have other stuff, too). The lady takingorders inspected every plate that came out with a serious, critical eye. The food looked like nothing else you can get in TampaBay and not in a bad, novelty kind of way. It was large portions, quality ingredients. Unfortunately, they are only open for afew hours a day, but I can see why. They must sell out of everything in stock during the lunch rush. This place would do greatin a bigger building or in downtown St Pete, but for now it seems to be St Pete's best kept secret. I'm not easily impressed, but they did it. I will be going back any time I can. Read more

My mom and I drive from New Port Richey once a month and we can never find anywhere to eat that's quick and doesn't leave you... feeling like death afterwards, until now. So happy to have found this little place. Service was fast and friendly. This willbecome a regular stop from now on! Read more

This is absolutely hands down my favorite place to have lunch. Anytime I'm in Pinellas I try to go there. Everything is fresh.... The rolls are soft. For as busy as they are at lunch time, they have super fast service. The owners are the most amazing people. They have the biggest hearts and always greet you with a smile. The staff is friendly and they work fast and efficient. I'vebeen going here for about 7 years and I've never once had a complaint or food made incorrectly. They truly care about theircustomers and the quality of their food. If you haven't been there, stop what you're doing and go now! Plus they always have afun joke on the specials board for you!
