Best sushi we?ve found in Tampa, even takeout. Enjoy some of the other popular places (SoHo, Ebisu, Umami) but KELP tops it..... love their unique menu that changes often with creative rolls that are to die for! Need to try the bowls, great place allaround. Read more
What a great little place, cheap for the quality and great sushi and bowls. I had the spicy tuna and the Ocean roll (pictured).... They were both very very good, well presented, and delicious all the way through. They're was a BOGO deal with two of the same8-piece normal sushi (not their specialty ones), which helped the price stay lower. I'll definitely be visiting again soon! Read more
Very yummy sushi, the crab rangoon is seasoned in a very unique way that made me feel like I was eating a steak rangoon. The... sushi burritos aren't the biggest but the ingredients are high quality so the deliciousness made up for the size. I absolutelylove the jalapeño mayo and sweet lava sauce! Read more
The food here is absolutely fantastic and the pairings were very well thought out. It took a lot of self-restraint not to over... eat because of how delicious everything was. I am not a fan of Krab Rangoon from places I have tried them at and the ones herewere so good. I will warn you that the wait is really long. We almost left but glad we stuck it out. That would typically mean Iwould have rated it lower but between the attentiveness of the staff and the quality of the food, I did not think it would havebeen fair. I got three different rolls and they kind of tasted like store bought sushi. I'm not sure if it was because I had my order... delivered, but I was not completely satisfied. The sauces are good. I don't like their soy sauce packets, the liquid is verythin and tasteless. I wouldn't deliver again, but I might try dining in to see if there's a difference. Read more
Seriously one of the best sushi places in the entire Tampa Bay area. Fresh and fabulous. The staff was friendly, the menu is... small enough to focus but expansive enough to find something you enjoy. I?m thrilled to find such a gem. If I could give thisplace a 10 star rating I would. Read more
Pleasurable dining experience in a small space in South Tampa. I started with the Miso Soup, Seaweed Salad, the Volcano Roll,... and Unagi Roll. Everything tasted fresh and I was convinced that the gluten free soy sauce was as good as the original. Servicewas good. I would recommend stopping by and trying it when your in the mood for sushi.
