First time I ordered takeout it was great. Turkey wings were phenomenal. Two days later I wanted the same thing but had to... place pick up order on line. After calling several times and receiving their voicemail, I received confirmation that order wasconfirmed and payment was deducted. Order placed at 7:30 and arrived at 8, only to find that my order was cancelled andeverything was cleaned up, even though they don?t close until 8:30. Very disappointing. I guess it?s hit or miss. No call, notext or email regarding my order. I guess I?ll have to look for another soul food place in Tampa. Read more
Order at your own risk! Place is inside gas station! This is the worst food I've taste. I wasted over $80 on them food and I... wouldn't feed this to a dog! I had to throw all of it away! I'm not sure why they re putting good reviews! So misleading andterribly disappointed ???? Read more
Definitely wasn't what I expected. I ordered the "Large" pork chops and grits breakfast but received a very small very thin,... cold, hard pork chop instead. $17.99 for a large pork chop that was paper thin and over cooked. Makes me wonder what the smallorder would look like?!.Just a bone!? Eggs were cold and tasted old, so did the grits. I ordered my food at 8am, you would thinkeverything would be fresh first thing in the morning, especially since they had just opened. Never again Read more
The gentleman there was very nice. The food not so much. The turkey wings were horrible They were boiled with no seasoning,... mostly bones. Yellow rice was not seasoned. Mac n cheese had no cheese. Butter only and noodles. The greens where seasoned withthe boiled turkey wings. Spent 15.00 on food I could not enjoy. I CAN NOT EXPRESS HOW DISAPPOINTED I WAS WITH THIS BLAND MEAL.It is up to you to decide to eat here. I can only advise I will not be back. Read more
Caught them at the split from breakfast to lunch. Sweet lady didn't care, said to me I'll fix you up. And she did. Only wanted a... sandwich, sausage and egg. Lady before me had a huge order so the she had to take care of her but kept making eye contact withme to make sure I was doing OK. Exchanged some small talk got my sandwich gratis, lady said I was waiting too long. No, I'm nota Karen, I get it there's other people in the world. Relax. Sweetheart lady just gave me the sandwich! I ordered a side of greens (large) however the container was small. The first bite was gritty like they had not been properly... washed before being cooked. I took another bite and that bite was even more gritty. I ended up spitting it out and throwing thewhole thing away. Great flavor but not prepared properly. Read more
this plate of food cost $16.99 the food portion too small for the price & the food was too salty .. I asked for mixed vegetables... not raw vegetables &? I asked for banana pudding &? got this I don?t have NO clue what this is what so ever .. very disappointed Read more
