This still is the best Greek restaurants in Tampa. I was disappointed that my phone order was not complete upon arrival, and had... to wait 10 minutes for the completion. Read more

Food is good but every single time we order takeout they forget something in our order. Literally the last five times at least.

I had not gone to this store in years. It is actually closer to my house then the Greek restaurant I go to most of the time. We... decided to try Louis Pappas on Bay to Bay today not for anything bad about the other place....just figured we would trysomething different. What a good call!!! We ordered the trio appetizer, the spinach and feta flatbread and a standard Gyro. Ihave to tell you this gyro may have been THE BEST GYRO I have EVER friggin had. Totally unexpected. totally blown away. It wasmade by a woman name Amber, I think. Well....thank you Amber and Louis Pappas that Gyro. It was AWESOME. You just earned 2 newloyal customers. My girlfriend also liked the flat bread and we both liked the trio appetizer. See you soon! Read more

Just the other day I ordered take out for my family during a rainstorm. When it was time to go pick it up I realized my street... among many others in South Tampa had flooded from the heavy rainstorm. I called Louis Pappas to tell them I wouldn?t be able topickup my order. To my surprise the very kind manager, Melissa offered to bring it to me once she closed down for the night! Shemet me in the pouring rain on a road nearby to my house that wasn?t flooded. My family and I were just blown away by hergenerosity. This experience with Melissa is yet another reason (besides the most delicious chopped salad) that I will continueto support this local Tampa business! Read more

The original Greek Salad stemming from the once locally central Florida famous ?Louis Pappas? restaurant in Tarpons Springs... Greek river side sea sponge village in 1925 then later a location in St Pete Beach. Now decades and nearly a century later thefamous name and salads are a franchise keeping the things that made them famous, the Greek Salad and Baklava. The correctlychilled freshest ingredients for the salad and the can never be duplicated famous dressing. I can remeber Saturday/Sunday roadtrips to Tarpon Springs for salad and of course the best freshest Baklava for desert! Parking is easy and ground level. Read more

First and last time I?ll come here.. called my lunch order in and told it?ll be ready in 25 min.. arrived 30 min later and then... waited another 30 to get my food.. unpleasant experience only cause I know it was a crazy lunch rush and they couldn?t keep up.I?ve been in the food industry to understand this can happen, but please be more upfront on the phone about it.. I would?verather know it was gonna be a 45 min wait before I ordered and came up there and sit around with hopes it?ll be out shortly..and most importantly the food was subpar at best.. Greek fries are potato chips (trash)? won?t be coming here again. Go toByblos down the street, food and service is better there Read more
