Meanchi's Peruvian Inspired Nicest Chef.. Not sure if he was the owner. The food is absolutely scrumptious!! We ordered... the Meanchi's Way- beef braised sandwich, red onion, tomatoes, Yellow Peruvian Pepper, and cilantro. We picked fries as theside. Best FRIES!! Crunchy and soft and perfectly salted!! Stopped by this food truck, which shares the patio with Dwell furniture store allowing for a really nice outdoor seating area... with various seating options. The menu is Peruvian inspired, and once you decide on your option, we went into Dwell to lookaround while our food was freshly prepared (about 8 minutes). I ordered the Saltado (chicken) and my wife ordered the Perubianspecial, which is their take on a Cuban sandwich. Saltado is a staple on most peruvian restaurants, and the dish excels whenthe ingredients are allowed to stand on their own AND meld together. This version does exactly that; the rice is perfectlycooked and fluffy, the fries do not overpower, nor are the soggy (which can happen), and the chicken was nicely seasoned. Thetomato?s were diced small rather than much larger portions, but they were not notably absent. The sandwich was wonderful aswell, and if it is available, I recommend you giving that a shot. These dishes were both priced very well, and if this was arestaurant, I would expect them to sell for 25% more at least. Overall, it is worth it to drive out of your way to give it ashot. Read more
