Lets start off i wouldnt even give them one star but thats the least i could do!!???? I grew up going to this steak n shake! My... mom my uncles and myself have worked here but these days i avoid it!! When Pat left it has changed(in the worst way!!) I was nota fan of pat but now i relize he did an amazing job!! I tried working there again under Thomas as my manager and only lastedabout 2 to 3 months!!(only that long cause i had to find another job n make ends meet) I had to leave because they constantlylie to the customers. I live in this neighborhood and refuse to work with such rude inconciderate people! It has been about 4months since so i tried to get shakes there tonight and the inside was closed at 925 and the employees there were callingpeople names(including myself). Tonight was Plant Homecoming and as i remember steak n shake was the place to be tonight theycalled parents names infront of kids and refused service to many! I NEVER do a google reveiw but this time i felt it necessary!!I loved steak n shake n i hate what it has become!! Rant over have a good night! Read more

All of the staff is in the kitchen. There is no one on the floor if you should need assistance. Only 2 of the 4 kiosk, that you... must order from, were working. One gentleman tried to pay with cash and the kiosk wouldn't accept it, even though it is setup toaccept cash. There are no waitresses, so you must pick up you tray. Someone needs to inform them that Florida is open and freefrom Covid restrictions. Stopped in this evenin and had a much better experience. The first time, referenced above, had menonly working the store. This evening was mostly men, but there was one lady. She was very nice, asked us if we neededassistance, and if we enjoyed our meal. I think the men need some customer service training, and they should make the lady thatwas there this evening their trainer. Read more
I've gone to S&S many times and have never had an issue. Today I ordered two burgers in the drive through. My son's burger was... fine but there was something very wrong with mine. There was a rotten smell to it that was nauseating and a very odd texture. I threw it out. I then called the restaurant for a refund for JUST my burger ($4) and not my son's as well. Nope. Theywouldn't do it. Lost our business forever. Read more
At least is faster than Macdonald. The hamburgers are not good. Really not. The milkshake continue being OK in the fast food... industry but you can get better in any other restaurants like five guys. It is ok place but it is a lot better to go to fiveguys Read more
I like steak and shake. Admittedly I haven't been in a long time because they weren't allowing inside dining. This location is... seemingly clean for a fast food style restaurant. The "service" model is very different now so be prepared to order from a kioskand have your name called when any part of your order is ready. My daughter had the grilled cheese and it looked good. Her frieswere crispy and hot. I haven't had the chili 5 way in so long I can remember if it tastes different or not. In my mind it tastesway different, but perhaps it's because I've had that dish elsewhere when traveling. It was ok. Nothing great, but not terrible.The base of the sauce almost tastes like BBQ sauce which threw me off. They don't have tobasco sauce so bring your own. OverallI'll go back because my daughter loves the milkshakes and the burgers are pretty good. Read more
No stars if possible!!! Doors locked @ 8:49pm, no sign stating temporary hours of service for dine in, no outside lights and... employees can see the doors yet no acknowledgement. Why is this place closed and locked up when hours on door state 10 to 10.???If there is a reason for dining room maybe a sign should placed for customers. And not everyone has a vehicle to come throughdrive thru to purchase food. Wasted time!!!! Read more
