Took my kids here for shakes and burgers after school on a Friday. When ordering I shared that I'm a diabetic and asked if there... were any options for me. It was suggested I try a burger with a lettuce "bun." Which I thought was a good idea so that's what Iordered. (See the pics) When I got home I noticed the bowl had white creamy looking stuff on the inside of the lid... ? Itwasn't mayonnaise or cheese. I transferred everything to a plate and saw more white stuff in the bottom of the bowl. It wasGREASE!! The amount of grease lead me to conclude it was put there intentionally. Which grossed me out so much that I'm 100%positive that I will NEVER visit this location again... EVER!! Read more
I haven't been to this Steak N Shake in a long time, I used to live nearer and go frequently when I was younger. Going back... showed me how much it changed! It is all digital now; you order via a large, clean touchscreen. They have removed one of myfavorite items unfortunately, the spicy chicken sandwich, but what I got was absolutely delicious! I ordered the Garlic Burgerand it was excellent! I loved the bun and the bun toppings. The burger was probably very bad for me but it was quite a treat. Ialso ordered a Nutella milkshake and that was exactly what I was hoping for! The cheese string fries were a delight and thespeed at which the order came out was quick! The staff was also very helpful and patient as they were helping a couple order onthe screen and they seemed to be having an issue with a gift card. The staff was very patient and seemed to thoroughly exhausteverything they could before it just had to be an expired or zero-balance card. Food and prices were amazing, staff... not so much. We waited at the speaker for minutes before getting a response and once... talked to, there was no respect at all towards the customers. The lady was very rude for no reason at all and it really caughtus off-guard. Food was good and cheap as we bought off the 4 under $4 menu. Service was not on Steak N Shake par. Read more
The dinner is computer generated ordering. Once you get comfortable using their ordering system it is a pleasant experience.... Food was delivered quickly. The wife and I enjoyed the food and time we spent there. Read more
They will ruin your food somehow so make sure you check it before you leave. If you order a double cheeseburger they will give... you a single. They won't offer condiments, so if you forget... good luck. If you do remember to ask for condiments when you'reordering you still will not get them. This place has made great improvements and is much better now than it has ever been. Everything is made quickly and comes out... hot and fresh made exactly to order. They don't have all the great coupons they used to and it cost a little bit more than itdid back then but the quality and the amount of time you wait for food is way better now and it's a much more satisfyingexperience than it was back when it was dirt cheap. The food is always fresh and the shakes are delicious. The mint chocolate chip is my favorite but their strawberry shake and... banana shake are amazing also. Read more
We were looking for a sit-down place to eat lunch that wasn't chaotic like some other restaurants can be, and we love Steak 'n... Shake, so this worked great! Music was playing, but not excessively loud. Food was great, as usual! Read more
