They have the best crab fried rice. Real crab, not that imitation crab either. The portion is huge, i usually have it for dinner... and the next day for lunch Read more

I ordered Uber eats from Thai 5 Fast Food. The portion sizes are big, but that?s about it. I ordered the beef salad and basil... chicken and ate it as soon as I got home. The beef salad was covered in red seasoning and all of the salad greens were soggy(cucumber, lettuce, tomato). The basil chick had a strange overwhelming flavor, and the container was full of liquid (it waslike soup). The food had a strange taste, and it was not fresh. I would not recommend this place. Our to go containers were not ?car safe? for the road. The Saran Wrap under the foam takeout box was full of teriyaki sauce and... spilled in the car. The food overall was okay, not the best tasting teriyaki sauce. We got the spring rolls, beef teriyaki, andchicken & shrimp teriyaki with noodles. Meat was dry, even with the extra sauce Read more

The food had no flavor at all. They gave us burned chicken. The Buffalo sauce was expired. The drunken noodles tasted like... cardboard. This place used to be good. They also made the excuse that the chicken was fresh & the cook probably didn?t know howlong to cook them when I called to complain. Read more

Me and my boyfriend John's favorite is the Tom Ka with Shrimp. We get it every time with the sushi Mexican Roll. Always trying... something new on their menu never disappoints. Shrimp and food is always fresh. Fantastic place to eat. My favorite takeout. Thefood is very flavorful just love it. Service is super polite. Great food for great prices. Worth ever penny. Fantastic bang foryour buck. Portions amazing. I cannot tell you I been to places and nothing compares still number 1 in our book hands down. BestKept Secret in South Tampa. Phenomenal. This place lives up to the hype. It's a must try place. We stopped in on our way out of town and were blown away.... The red curry has some spice (and can be made spicier if desired), the duck fried rice is amazing (not spicey, the way I prefer),the Tom ka soup was so flavorful and the thai tea is a hit. We tried a few things but because of the large portion sizes wewerent able to finish it all. I don't think you can make a bad choice here and the prices are very reasonable. Apparently thisplace was a food truck before a brick and mortar place and they try to keep the same vibe. I.e check out the menu, order, thenfind your seat until the food comes out. Staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. Seriously, try this place and ignore thefew bad reviews. Those people don't know what they're talking about. The place gets busy fast so that should be another sign. Idon't normally write reviews but this was worth mentioning. Go and get ready to be stuffed. Read more

I was told about Thai 5 by a customer that visits my workplace. International Cuisines was the subject of the convo so he... recommended that I try it. I gotta say, very delicious & unique blend of flavors. I was very pleased with the dish I ate. Istopped in for a quick dinner. Before arriving, I looked at the menu online. I arrived and ordered fried chicken dumplings, rangoons and Duck fried rice. OH MAN!!! That Duck fried rice .....the aromatic flavors, those little green onions.....each bitewas bursting with flavor! I just couldnt stop eating it!! I dined in for about 30 minutes to which all thirty, I felt like thefamed Youtube International Cuisine enthusiast, Mark Wiens!! I've watched Mark savor bite after bite of Thai food followed bythat trademark lean to the right and facial expression finish.... Now I know why!!! You MUST try the duck fried rice, I doubtyou will be disappointed. I can't explain the taste. As mentioned before, its aromatic, like eating Basmati rice but a differentflavor. All food is cooked fresh and piping hot. The staff is very polight and courteous! You get the feeling that you' resomewhere in southeast asia at a small diner, COOL FACTOR! I highly recommend this restaurant for lunch or dinner or if you justdig Thai! Read more
