Coming out the gate, my first experience ordering from Hungry Greek was an absolute failure. The two items I ordered include the... grilled veggie bowl and lemon chicken and rice soup. Each of which items carried their own flaws; ie missing ingredients orimproper portions, led to writing this post. The meal I received from Hungry Greek was a lack of service; which is unfortunatebecause this was my first time trying the restaurant. I posted one pic of the soup for a visual reference. I visited this location about 2 years ago while on my honeymoon. Came again today because I loved the food the last time I had... been there. Unfortunately most of the chicken I had got was very undercooked. I let the boys that were working know and one hadreplaced some of the chicken. He did make sure it was very well done like I asked. But because of the partially raw meat, I wasunable to eat any of the other food that was on my plate. My husband has also left a review of the same experience, and theowner is willing to refund our money for the inconvenience. And we greatly appreciate that. Read more
My wife, myself, and our infant daughter came here today. The option to tip was presented before receiving our food, and I... regret tipping. My wife was given raw chicken. The falafel seemed manufactured like some fast food. The rice had decent flavorbut wasn't cooked properly. The texture was almost dry and hard. The hummus was good, but hummus is hard to botch. Not how Iremembered it from my honeymoon, and will not return. Not worth the $50 to feed my family, but I guess that's how peoplelearn. What a shame. Read more
Good food and good portions. I ordered a gyro and Greek fries. The gyro was packed with meat and a generous amount of tzatziki... sauce. The fries were good, but could have used a little more feta and maybe seasoning. Overall happy with my meal though, andwill come back. Read more
Sorry really hate to do this, I frequent ?Little Greek? all the time for their dolmades (the one next to the spectrum and... walmart further down Dale Mabry) and the dolmades ARE always made fresh. Well the order in this picture is from ?HUNGRY Greek?and clearly they placed my dolmades a in the microwave. The leaf was stiff and hard and the rice on the inside was also burnt.(Felt like bitting match sticks) I?m sure the other foods they make seem fresh as they can?t pop cucumbers in the microwave. Butjust wanted to share that properly done and fresh dolmades are juicy and not stiff nor has hard rice inside of them. Also whatever recipe the vendor of the dolmades use( because at this point i doubt someone created them from scratch) ?. The mint flavoris way too much even with the microwaved burnt dolmades, the mint was overwhelming. Hope this helps anyone thinking of tryingthe dolmades. Read more
I want to love this place but they seem incapable of reading the notes section on their online orders... I just wanted some... olives on my gyro and no tziziki because I'm latose intolerant, it's not that hard. If you're reading and thinking, but Devin,it's only one mistake one time. Nope, I've been eating it for about a year and they've never put my olives on, so I'm finallyleaving a review. Please read your notes section so I can change this review on my next order. Read more

great taste, great service. until I tried the free baklava that wasn't so fresh at all tasted like old and 3 hours later the... food was giving me indigestion. Have been in many great places where they serve mediterranean food, this one needs to work ongiving more quality with the food and the authentic mediterranean flavors. Read more
