I absolutely loved this place! I got a room at the hotel next door.. and I stopped by here for breakfast.. Miss Barbara was my... waitress and she was witty and wonderful! She was also very helpful ?? I can Tell she's the reason why someone would come backto this place... Today I ordered a vegetable skillet and it was very delicious! Food was good. Even though our order came out wrong. They mixed up the ingredients in both omlettes. Our server was... great. Facility is older and could use some vacuuming and cleaning but hard to hold that against them with staffing shortagesmost establishments are faced with. Read more
Great service and most of our party enjoyed their meals. My husband had the club, my daughter the french toast and I was torn... between classic eggs Benedict and a florentine version. As I love Canadian bacon, I chose a mash-up! Oh no, you BeneDONT. I wassaddened to receive what would've been eggs florentine benedict with a slab of country ham saved under the egg. ???? Me and my son stopped there while on vacation in Tampa. They used to have a location in Fort Myers so I wanted to see if it was... as good as I remembered. They did not disappoint . While the coffee wasn't anything to write home about the food wasexceptional! They also have amazing pies but regretfully it was breakfast so I didn't have any. Saw a sign for free pie onWednesdays. Chicken fried steak and eggs. Came with hashbrowns and pancakes. The chicken fried steak wasn't good just tasted soggy and... processed ordered over medium eggs they came out with the whites still not cooked. Was told that's how the cook does overmedium. I was a breakfast cook for many years when I was younger, whites should be fully cooked. The food just wasn't good nomatter what they did just not good quality. Sausage gravy was thin and lacked meat and flavor. Pancakes where good. Service wasgood. I suggest they order there truck from somewhere else and teach there cook about eggs. Then it would be good. Server wasvery nice forgot her name but young girl with curly hair. She had my eggs fixed right and did the best she could with the handshe was dealt. My date enjoyed it more than me. Strange Friday night, not crowded, very nice place. Clean, got the rueben sandwich, fries, cherry pie. The pie hold on to... the title of The Best, NOT just 1 of the best, BUT , THE BEST! Read more
